Great comparison. I own TM MWS M4, TM recoil shock m4 (with upgraded electronics) TM MWS T89, GBLS, and Tippman M4 (1st Gen with hard kick bolt), plus many more. My view is that they all serve a purpose. However, I do find that my go too's are the mws and recoil shock TM. Why, well lots of reasons, but mostly because they just fit my play. Tippy is a great beast, and accurate with fantastic range, but ai got tired of carrying a bottle. But the recoil is amazing, and it has had no breakdowns in over 100,000 rounds. Easy to maintain and good trigger. it is also real tippmann firearms type coated so does not scratch. Remember tippmann is a real steal manufacturer as well as toys. GBLS, it's a great Aeg, JUST AS STATED, in the comparison. It is certainly worth expanding and perfecting. I also have the KSC early HK33 with the same concept in operation, with its primitive operation, for comparison. Yet it has a better trigger, LOL. Remember, GBLS did not come up with something new, they significantly improved and enhanced an old design. Then added a moving piston cylinder to simulate a bolt, like a gbb does . But, at the end of the day, it is still an AEG, and feels and operates like an AEG. In comparison to my TM recoil shock M4, the TM recoil is snappier,, and with the electronic trigger from Spartan, it is just as crisp to shoot, although without the real steel trigger feel. The TM is an easier beast to just throw a battery in and then go play. With the shadow of the true m4 functionality to keep you honest. LOL But my fav is my MWS, they just check all the boxes, for me. Honestly, I find that the gbls is more of a safe queen, and now the tippy is as well, although it saw a great deal of use before I got tired of lugging air. LOL

@BadaBingPictures2 жыл бұрын
You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed it! I was going to make another versus video, but this late in the game it’s clear the winner is TM. As a company, GHK doesn’t seem to be bothered in improving themselves. •Feed lips are still too tight and prone to cracking. •That cracking leads to double feeds •Double feeding can break the plastic hop up chamber. And general quality control has plummeted, and it was exactly amazing back in the day. They should be charging WE money, IMO.

@@BadaBingPictures Thank you! What upgrades would you recommend for the TM? I want to use it as my primary for close and long range. Looking to shoot 400 FPS maybe more for 200+ft engagements
@BadaBingPictures2 жыл бұрын
A good GBBR requires little to no upgrades at all. This is very much true with TM M4 GBBR’s. If you use green gas, invest in an aftermarket nozzle spring as the originals life expectancy is reduced under the fast speed. As it is out of the box it is the best for indoor / close engagements. It’s a beast. Good quality heavyweight rounds can be considered upgrades too. As weird as that sounds but often overlooked. You’ll be surprised. Brass nub for the HU will allow you to lift bbs 0.32+. Stock rifle is certainly capable of 200+ft already, and a brass nub or harder rubber can throw out easier. Longer barrel can get you to 400fps easily. With GG it boosts the speed anyway so you might find it doesn’t require much additional input from yourself. Beware of joule creep with heavier bbs. Some aftermarket barrels aren’t going to be “upgrades”, TM barrels are quite decent already, and unless you swap with PDI or edgi, it’s generally considered side-grades or worse.

Depends. Both are quite formidable platforms. You just gotta know what you're looking for. Me? BadaBingPictures you’re more than welcome. I will say that it was an obvious conclusion from the start with you being a ghk Gbbr fan :). I don’t really think you can compare gas and electric guns. Gas is more “real steal” where aeg is more look and to a certain extent reliable/boring.

Depends on your climate, if its warm year round then it may not be necessary. Regardless CO2 has a higher pressure than Green Gas (Propane) so you get a smoother cycle, stronger recoil and no cooldown. I can't really think of any downsides aside from the capsules being a bit more expensive and a pain to change but that's what the DH mod is for.

A very interesting comparison. As both of these guns are on a possible purchase list of mine. I need something to use at the range for people to use to get used to handling real firearms. The gas system seemed the best choice as they strip and look very similarly to real ones, however the only gas rifle I've owned was a we acr, which has been junk pretty much from new. This has sort of put me off owning any more. So my thoughts were I fully functional ar-15 based product with real steel type functionality but electric does seem appealing. You do seem very happy with the performance of the ghk platform which has steered me back towards that mainly for price,but also the extra kick etc. Great review and I would be interested in any feedback as to what you consider the best m4 /ar-15 platform that would fulfill my needs. 👍

The problem with GBBRs is that some manufacturers cheap out on the material. For example WE, KWA, and older VFCs use soft metals for their internals as well as bad tolerance and quality assurance. GHK, Vipertech, newer VFCs, and Tokyo Maruis use steel or have amazing design features that allow the reliable use of softer metals. Never had problems with my GHKs but my WEs were definitely very temperamental

I'm a gbbr lover too, I dislike the lack of realism in shooting aegs. For me I think the gbbr would be perfected if they found a way to get compressed air into the mag and solve the cool down and consistency issues, not sure if ever possible though.
@BadaBingPictures2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think that’ll be possible with the conventional method of liquid gas charges magazines. It’ll always be there. I think they do a good job these days anyway, if you see cooldown in fair conditions it’s likely you’re doing something wrong. And consistency…well there’s not much that can be done with that sadly.

I would of course choose the GHK for several reasons: - I am very sensitive to triggers. To this day I can't shoot accurately my P90 AEG even though I had it for 5 and a half years. - Sound. No winding-grinding. I always work really hard on my AEGs to make them sund like a gun, but it's an impossible task. - Price. I mean I coud afford it, but only because I don't throw money out the window for stuff like the GDR-15. - Internals. Field stripping a Gas Blowback is a therapeutic experience while disassembling an AEG is work without a paycheck. I realize my reasons are very similar to BadaBing's so let me add one more thing: I also don't like the "modern" wireframe gun furnitures.

Great in-depth review, Just my two cents considering I own both gas and the GBLS close to a year know. I live in California so the heat here can have some nasty effects on GBBR's. Sure you could buy an N pas but that's just going to add's to the cost and is not as consistent as I would like it be. I also switch back to AEG for that extra accuracy and consistency. However ones I tried and purchase my GBLS DAS m4. It was a game changer. I ran it just like I would run my AEG's. However this hasn't replace my AEG as they are still far superior in terms of accuracy. But it has defiantly replace my GBBRS. As for as pricing Yea not cheap , I would recommend waiting a few more years as prices and availability becomes a norm. It won't take them long before GBLS team release there own Heavy bolt mod for the DAS m4. I always carry my AEG ICS Transformer and My DAS m4. Gave them equal love on the battlefield.

Thanks for watching. People often focus on the fact that GBBR’s only have a problem with the cold but often forget that if it’s too hot they run into issues as well. It doesn’t happen very often in my corner of the world but it has the potential. It’s still very much new. Imagine where it’ll be given time. Although I don’t think the cost will drop far enough to become as attainable as the humble mid-high range AEG. What GBBR’s do you/did you have?

I saw a full team with GBLS at an event at Longmoor, I asked to try them out with excitement expecting to be blown away by the experience, but was left being super glad I didn't take the plunge... The recoil was really quite weak and the Impulse feels delayed, the hop was also inconsistent, this was without taking costs into account. With DH mod an option, lightweight magazines, nice kick, if I want max realism, it's hard to consider this expensive platform as an alternative.

I know what you mean. I can see why some people are in awe of it...if all they’ve had previously to that are EBBR’s like TM/G&G etc etc.. I’d be interested to see how they go about improving it in the years to come. You get that lag where the motor spins up and the bolt begins its journey. I’d like to see them speed that up a bit, the return is a lot quicker.

@BadaBingPictures4 жыл бұрын
Hi! I would say that it's worth it. I still have the one in this video and it does the job very well. With its original barrel set it's about on par with a regular AEG in regards to range, it's not great but its not terrible either. If your local site permits higher fps, you could install the TNT retrofit kit, adjust the hop for .36g bbs or heavier and you will notice its ability to reach out further. The accuracy will be above average too.

I think you’ll like it. For the money it’s probably one of the best GBBR’s that has just the right blend of realism and still be able to be field skirmishable right from the box. I was playing around with mine the other day and tried 0.40g bbs in its stock config, and it can hit the side profile of a house brick with high hit probability at 20m. So it’s not bad at all, and the hop up has enough adjustment to overhop that weight ammo.

Hi Bada Bing! Thanks for all of your fantastic reviews! May I ask where did you get the KAC rail panels which you showed in this video? And I also have a 2019 ver. M4 of GHK. The gun shoots fine, but the bolt release is very, very hard to press. Actually each time after I insert a new mag, I have to literally slash the bolt release to chamber the BB...Is this normal in your opinion? The gun is still quite new (less than 500 BBs) btw. Thank you in advance!
@BadaBingPictures5 жыл бұрын
Hi, I bought the rail panels from a private seller on eBay. The bolt release is quite stiff on the GHK’s, don’t worry about it. Put your back into it, give it a good punch! 💪 It would be much stiffer if you have a harder recoil spring, just FYI. Thanks for tuning in to my vids. Good to have you here. Cheers

Ok thanks! Now I’m pretty relieved. Just one more question (sorry I am still a newbie to GBBR): if I simply pull the charging handle again to chamber the new mag instead of hitting the bolt release, would it be a little bit “healthier” for the mechanism of the gun? I know that would be much less fun XD, but I am just curious.

You could do that. Sure. I used to do that with the older V1 GHK M4 as the bolt carrier didn’t have a reinforced insert and it could damage easily.

Welcome to my corner of the Internet. I appreciate your support. I get asked questions like this quite frequently and I usually answer them by asking questions about that individual. Have you played Airsoft before? If so, how long for? What Airsoft guns did you use? AEG’s etc... Reason is because GBBR’s are mostly used by people that have played Airsoft for long periods of time and are looking for a challenge or an increase in realism that Electric Guns just cannot provide. I have seen people try to leap frog past AEG’s and try GBBR’s first, and unfortunately they haven’t had chance to get to know the physics of what a little plastic pellet does and how it reacts after it’s left the barrel. Their limitations in regards to range and accuracy and what other crazy upgraded guns other people might be shooting at you with. Not only that, most GBBR’s require a tad more fine tuning to get those bbs to go where you want them to. • How to fill the gas • How long the gas will last • How much they will require in order to have consistent shots from the first to the last • Understanding how a Gas Gun works and their limitations: Limited capacity, temperature, problems occurring when over-gassed etc • Knowing how to adjust the Hop up and selecting a heavy weight bb to use with that Hop up setting Most of these you won’t have to worry about if you choose an electric gun first. Then all you’d have to worry about is setting the Hop up, loading your mags and play. Running gas rifles will probably make your first experiences within the game a bit overwhelming and a little bit of a drag. Spending a lot of time bombing up your mags, all the while the marshals are barking at everyone to hurry up and reload. There are so many factors that goes into it that I’m probably forgetting to name them all. I’m not trying to put you off or telling you how to suck eggs if you’ve had some experience of Airsoft already. I’m just trying to be realistic and not simply fire a list of rifles that could do the job. A friend of mine is an ex squaddie and his first Airsoft Gun was a GBBR. A GHK G5, which is widely known as one of the most reliable and user friendly gas rifles there is. He just didn’t get on with it at all and lacked the built up knowledge of these toy guns to make it work for him. The feeling of being overmatched weighed heavily and he ended up selling it for an AEG. I would usually advise to try out a budget GBBR to learn the craft and if it isn’t for you, you can sell it on and not lose a tremendous amount of money. The WE G36c GBB is an excellent budget GBBR which is reliable and there are always bundles for sale second hand with spare magazines. In direct relation to your question: Performance the whole year round can be achieved with some GBBR’s. I’d say the easiest to keep going would be the GHK M4, because CO2 will allow it to function during the winter. The HK416A5 was a fine rifle but the GHK was better during the winter when using the same gas. Right...this is a long reply. I’m just going to let you digest this. 👍

@@BadaBingPictures awesome reply, thank you. I have never played yet, but I currently run a we g18c and a Kwc MP9 and I've started by just running shooting drills in my back garden (punching paper and dropping plates jungle lane style) akin to what I used to do in real steel. I'm currently getting around 50mm groups on my mp9 at 10m and 75mm with my pistol- with regards to drills I can hit a head size target nine times out of ten at 20m and I have already had a ball ache with the hop on the WE and the Asg/Kwc so I've learned the hard way there. I hear you with the capacity issues and the stoppages compared to those people running AEGs however like I think you have already said those are the things that define airsoft for me as I'm using it for one, a bit of a larf and two to keep my hand in so I like to keep it real otherwise we might as well slap on a 200bb hopper and flip to A-n'spray. So it is GBB for me or I don't think I'll bother. So you’ve got some time behind a gas gun..cool. Totally with you there. It’s a lot more rewarding when you’re using a GBBR. I think it makes you a better player. Like one of the highest difficulty settings on a video game for example. If you’re not sold on the WE G36’s, then the alternatives such as the GHK M4 or TM would give you what you want. Of course they come at a price which is substantially more than your budget. You might be lucky to find 2nd hand packages. I haven’t played with the WE M4 series of GBBR’s for at least 5 years so I’m not sure if they have improved at all in that time. When I owned their M16 it’s was only okay. It hated the cold weather and the CO2 magazines weren’t all that helpful. Their G36 is miles better in my opinion. Haha. Thanks! David Attenborough, that’s a new one! Yep. Any opportunity for a brew. I go through so many cups during filming and it’s hard to maintain the fresh piping hot cuppa look for the camera.

Although i’m not really an in the field kinda guy, i find the gas blow back system fascinating. What would you recommend for someone looking for a gas blow back pistol with good materials out of the box, great recoil and sound? Funds are not a problem and would love to be able to shoot it without bbs as well!

Welcome to my little corner of the Internet, great to see you. Depends on what pistol you like. Any particular Make and model that gets your juices flowing, and you are likely to find an Airsoft GBB version of it.

BadaBingPictures apologies for my comment’s grammar, sometimes my fingers just keep writing stuff haha. I’m doing a lot of research to find a satisfying first buy and if there’s something that really gets me all cozy is a good satisfying recoil, realism and a good non plasticky “humph” sound would be very much appreciated as well. Any gbb pistol that comes to mind? Btw you got yourself a new sub!

There are lots to choose from. If you’re more of a collector than a player, I’d recommend you look at some of Umarex licensed GBB’s. Most of them are OEM by VFC, and they are well known for making excellently finished Airsoft guns. Glock’s, H&K’s and FN’s 👍 KSC/KWA produce a large range of handguns, as well as WE. WE being more affordable. Thanks for the support.

I wish I would have watched your videos before I dove head first into the shallow end of GBBR’s and spend money on KWA/PTS rifles. It’s sad when you experience issues/malfunctions shortly after your first 5ish magazines right out of the box. Then I moved on to Tippmann. Even then the original Tippmann rifle is not without its flaws, and I just cannot get over the feeling of being tethered to a hose line. I still love my Tippmann, but like you, my heart is with GBBR’s.
@BadaBingPictures5 жыл бұрын
Hi, welcome to my channel. Shame it hasn’t worked out for you with the KWA GBBR. I’m always asked to review those but they aren’t that well supported here and I don’t think they offer anything more than what I have already had. Yep. I love the Gas-In-Mag rifles, even though they aren’t as consistent as line fed designs.
@jugofmilk416 жыл бұрын
As someone who runs gbbrs there is no getting close to a gbb by using a aeg system at all if you have the money for a gbls I will recommend just getting a ghk vfc or marui a few mags BBs and a propane adapter as well as a few bottles of propane and be done keep the rest of the money for kit but I can see why someone would buy it (if it was cheaper as well) in some countries like Russia no matter what gbbr you have they just don’t want to work that much so the gbls would be much better for that environment
@BadaBingPictures6 жыл бұрын
Agreed. It has its place, and it’s a welcomed addition to the Airsoft world. I wouldn’t be completely opposed to having one for myself but my job doesn’t afford me that much expendable funds. Absolutely makes sense if someone is tired of having a rifle which runs out of fuel very quickly, also taking 10mins to reload gas magazines and have the temperature constantly looming over you. These disadvantages are eliminated by a wad of cash and connecting a battery. Hardly surprising when I see more people adopting them.

Since I saw the GBLS I've always wanted one of those.. However a couple months ago. One of my friend bought that GDR-15 and starting to play with it. Fast foward to a couple weeks later. I asked my friend how his new toy performed? He answered "This thing needs a lot of lubricating. A lot more than GBB-R. Anytime I forgot to lube it and came directly to airsoft field and play. It jammed and jam a lot" So.. I'm kinda worry about the overtime performance of the gun. But the problem is me and my friend live in Thailand. And Thailand is a fcking hot country. So.. I just wanna know, if any of this problem happened in you guys country too?

I never had a single jam with the sample I had. It fired every bb I dropped the bolt onto. I used Airsoft Surgeon bbs and even Geoffs Bio bbs. No problem. It needs lube of course but it didn’t need huge quantities.

Well.. my friend used a .25g VFC bbs though, I guess maybe the problem is our country can reach 40°c during summer. It might have dried some lube in some weird way.. Thanks for the reply Have a good day!

hey BadaBing, I'm wondering if your GHK M4 came with a slightly misaligned rail? My front rail is not perfectly lined up with the receiver rail and front post. I've fixed it to a certain degree (with some filing and padding), but it still sits a bit off center when I tighten down the top screw. I guess mine doesn't have the best fitment. Does yours have this issue? I wonder because if it's a common problem with GHK, then I wouldn't bother with a replacement part. Thank you!
@BadaBingPictures5 жыл бұрын
Hi Have you tried using those thin metal shims on the outer barrel? It sets the barrel nut at the correct positioning for the rail to index onto those lugs. It takes some fine adjusting but it can be done.

Fair enough. Problem with AEG’s is that they pose a serious health hazard. A friend of mine is a GBB only kind of guy. Like me. One day he borrowed an AEG for a game and he found it so dull that his heart stopped and he died. Paramedics said it was Sudden Cardiac Death. We tried to administer chest compressions but his cheap plate carrier vest didn’t have the QD system and we couldn’t get it off in time. Since then I have vowed to never touch an AEG again. The GBLS is one of their value kits (I think it was called), no rail, no stock and a 10.3" barrel, I put on a PTS EPS and a Madbull Mk18 rail, I think it both looks good and feels good shooting. I still like the feel of a GBBR but the each one I had so far has had at least one problem, some worse then others.

If I could afford both.... I sure as hell would get both with no regrets. I live somewhere that most of the time people consider gbbrs obsolete during seasons other than summer (damp and cold destroy gbb function most of the time). And the GBLS GDR-15 seems like the perfect answer, and I would buy one and 8 magazines just to support the company so that hopefully they can one day also produce other gun models. THIS is the innovation that needs to happen in Airsoft. Not another fancy mosfet or 40mm super bearing Gearbox or any of that overhyped garbage. After all, the whole point of the hobby over paintball is the realism of the replicas, and what better way to do that than to make them function as realistically as possible? I hope to the gods they do a DAS SCAR or 416 with these. After all, they wouldn’t have to design new mags for those! For the time being if I were to choose one right now with my current budget, I’d get myself a WE-tech M4 setup and 6 magazines, and then add some external goodies and be able to keep it under $800 at most. I know people love to bash on we-tech, but personally I think they’ve been majorly improving over the years. And the market in the US is frendlier for we-tech right now rather than GHK. But, hopefully the DAS will keep improving and keep getting better. Again that would be my choice if I didn’t have other expenses to take care of first.

The heavy trigger may be more realistic. I haven't fired a real M4 before, but I've fired a 5.56 AK (Zastava m90) and the trigger pull is at least 4 times stronger than the airsoft gbbrs. Still doesn't excuse the price though. you could buy a real AR15, rent a locker to store it in, and get a plane ticket to america to actually shoot the ar15

I had the chance to shoot that you GBLS and at the time I also did not know what to think of it. but there is no way that it would replace my GHK AK I run it on CO2 and that thing is loud as hell and it has an amazing kick sense I am using a steel bolt full travel. Also with CO2 I don't need to worry about cold weather. After the game opening up the rifle and cleaning it I love doing that. Or if I ever get a jam which is very very very rare it adds to the excitement in the game it happens to the real one as well. And one last thing I feel my magazines with CO2 just like you would with green gas there are a few modifications you have to do but it is super easy and very worth it. I pay for 5 pounds of CO2 $17 that is nothing and it lasts forever

And I choose the GHK M4. That's because I already own one, thanks to Bing. And I am also a GBBR fan. I really don't like the AEG as a main, although they can be very tricky and good on the field - once they're very well upgraded. The only way I would play AEG is when they can manage to have the same amount of recoil as a GBBR and not sound it much like an electric screwdriver. And also with ALOT more variaty in Real cap magazines, meaning 30 - 35 max! Only a handfull of them are around and it's such a shame. I would love the reloads during a battle and also have to cock it like a GBBR or RS. So charging handle to pull it through and also with the bolt lock to snap it back in. I really hate it when I see and play with or against players that can spray out 80 to 140 bb's in a a single magazine, carrying up to 800 bb's in all of their magazines. To me, that's just boring! So GHK or TM anyday!

@BadaBingPictures Hello Badabing, First of all, thank you very much for all your videos. It helps a loooooot. I wouldn't be able to make a choice (good choice) without it. I am used to play airsoft for a while (TM EBBR AEG) and I definetely want to take the step to GBBR. I was obvisouly hesitating a lot between TM MWS and GHK M4 (still...!). After seeing almost all your videos I am almost ready to buy the GHK M4 V2 (2019). Indeed, I am pretty sure that what make me fall in love with GBBR is the recoil (the sound as well) and the realism. I am used to live in a town close to the Alpes moutains which means it may by cold out there (used to play at 0°c) and I do know (thanks yo your videos) the GHKM4 will not guive up in such conditions. The GDR could have been a great solution as well but ... the price !! However... I have still have some questions in my mind. I will play as a spotter for a sniper which mean staying pretty far away from the fight (long shot engagement 40 to 60 meters). I am used to play in forest only (almost). I wish to be able to hit a target with 2 or 3 bb's maximum between 30 to 50 meters (Imagine if I am a shitty shooter ahahah - ANYWAY !). - The GHK M4 doesn't a very nice accuracy out of the box. If I buy this one, I will clearly look for a better barrel and hopup. I'll buy the FG adjustable nozzle (set between 360 to 380) as well and get a better spring (FG or marui maybe). are they any other upgrade I could do in order to improve the FPS regularity ? I guess a lighter bolt (good for winter as well but the recoil then :'( ...). Anything else ? By the way, IS the DH MOD still possible on V2 mag ? Is it still the same work to do as for the previous ones ? - I know the marui should do a great job till 50 meters but I am not sure I could really upgrade the performance till 60 (without loosing the legendary TM hop feeling). With the former MWS magazines I know the MOD would have help to reach 360/370 fps which would have been perfect... but with the new magazines (glued tubes) I have read that the MOD is much harder to installed.... The mod would have been helpful in cold weather as well... I have read you don't have enough time for a new battle between MWS and the GHK M4 V2 but you should have an opinion anyway (a kind of teaser for your next video ahahah ?) ? I am not asking which one is better out of the box but if the GHK may be as accurate as the Marui with the good improvements ? :) It will take a bit of your time to answer all this questions so ... many many thanks in advance !
@BadaBingPictures5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for tuning in to my videos. Wow. That’s a lot of text, haha. The GHK M4 V2 would be a great choice for you. The new magazines *can* be modified for CO2 (DH mod). The FG Adjustable nozzles are very good, however in my experience they work best when you are trying to reduce up to 20FPS from your original chrono score. The more you screw in the valve, the more it caps off the gas. Then you are restricting the amount of gas that the rifle needs to operate correctly. So gas efficiency will decrease and it will be quite sluggish. If you need to take off a lot of speed, you are better off with a 1J, or even Low Velocity nozzle. My 14.5” GHK shoots 300ish FPS with the low velocity nozzle and 340-350 with the 1J on GG. If I wanted to build a rifle to your requirements I would use the Low Velocity Nozzle and look at using an aftermarket inner barrel/hop up set. Maybe a slightly shorter inner barrel than the 14” to ensure the FPS does not run too high. (If you weren’t aware, the longer your inner barrel is on a Gas Gun the higher the FPS will be) Replacing the inner barrel with a tight bore will increase the FPS and you will need to account for that increase. As well as using CO2. That will give you a higher reading than GG. The TM M4 would be a great choice and it would be accurate enough for your task, right out of the box. However, I would feel safer with the GHK M4. Considering the temperatures which you play in. The Marui M4 is good in the cold, but GHK is best. There is a LOT of science involved, right? I think I’ve covered most of what you asked. In regards to Hop Up/inner barrel upgrades, I haven’t done much experimenting.
@jessywojnacki77995 жыл бұрын
@BadaBingPictures Thank you very much for your answer ! Now, I can confess... I don't like coffee... I shall be considered as a traitor I guess !) Thank you for your very welcome advice. There is TOOOO much science involved in that mess... And so I don't really understand why you would use the low velocity nozzle (better regularity ?)... I mean, for long shots efficiency, higher fps should helps as the bb's can reach the target faster. A bit more velocity with also help a lot in order to hit someone across a bush (I play only in forest). The airsoft teams around do accept 400 fps for semi automatics + real cap /midcap rifle. I don't want to go that high, but 350-360 fps would fit perfectly on my opinion (I am used to play with this kind of velocity). The thing I really want to acquieve is to being able to set up the GHK M4 at 350/360 FPS everyday to make sure I will be able to get use to the rifle, his power, his range, etc. That is why I thought about the FG adjustable nozzle... I had a KC02 (which is a good rifle I think) 2 years ago and damn, I loved it. But I had to change my hopup and my scope set up every single day as the power of the gun was always changing depending on the temperature. That's why I think that changing the velocity would be easier to ensure better overall performance (personnal opinion). I know what you are going to say right now... "This man is crazy, he's asking me how to transform a GBBR as an AEG". Dreams are dreams (lot of science involved, right ? ahah) ! I even thought to put a line on it (which would be a crime as well ?) ==> In this case, I would probably go for a Marui MTR-16 unless I don't really like the design (shorter mags are better for the line... Would the short MTR-16 mags fit on the MWS ? I definitely want to give a last chance to GBBR platforms before falling to the dark side of HPA, or worst, remains an eternal padawan with my AEG. Please Badabing, your are my last hope !

You don’t like coffee? Okay! You’re on your own, bye!
@BadaBingPictures5 жыл бұрын
Lol. I would recommend that Low Velocity nozzle only because after any inner barrel upgrades the FPS shouldn’t climb higher than your required FPS setting. It would keep you well within those parameters. You are considering an HPA line? I understand the consistency benefits, however it is very much having your cake and eating it? Do you need to win that hard? If you leave yourself with a GBBR with AEG like consistency, you would surely get bored of it, no? Yes all Marui M4 GBB magazines are compatible with the MTR16. It’s essentially the same rifle under the skin.

@@BadaBingPictures Thanks again for your answer. You are definitely right. I am gonna go for the GHK M4 with low velocity nozzle. I've understood your piece of advice. Yeah its been more than five years they've been saying the same thing. The MIL/LE excuse is just BS.

If the GBLS had *more* kick than a GBBR I think it would be worth the price.

@BadaBingPictures5 жыл бұрын
Hi, The cold weather performance was not good. I owned the M16, which is more or less the same thing, and it couldn't handle the cold very well. I even tried the Co2 magazine and it wasn't really helpful either.

GBLS GDR-15 DAS 100% Perfect Win
@Creatively_Clueless6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, GBLS Das is vastly too expensive. Needs to be a third of the asking price. Yes they need to recoup the development costs but I fear if they don't reduce the price significantly they'll never sell enough. They simply need to shift more units at a lower price. I think people would be more willing to spend something like £600 on one rather than £1,600!!!!
@BadaBingPictures6 жыл бұрын
Many people that I talked to said the exact same thing. If it was around the £600 mark they would sell so many. The South Korean Military were impressed by it too. I can’t see the price changing if they decide to adopt it for training. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Who ever thought of making a aeg into something that is slightly close to a gbbr or real gun is to put it bluntly, stupid. It’s like re inventing the wheel....but four times more complex and time consuming to work on..... in a way I kind of want vfc to have a go at making one....just to see how bad they Fluck up.
@Solidsnake02086 жыл бұрын
Really? Why? Most people are striving for that next level of realism and I know you get that with GBBRs, but most people don’t want to deal with the lack of performance in winter and the low cap magazines.
