A recent visit from our dairy company we supply milk to was a 2.5 hr talk about carbon and paper work and then a quick ten minute walk around the farm before she left. The water supply had fluoride already and that had been shown it wasn't necessary and actually the origin of fluoride is coming from manufacturing waste I can't remember what type of manufactory but google and you will find it. They noticed if the 50's if my memory is correct or 60's , the animals and people living near the manufactories were getting ill and some even died. Cows don't get their nutrition from grass. The grass feeds bacteria, which produce the gas as they digest the grass. The cow gains its nutrition from digesting the bacteria. Is blocking the production of methane actually stopping this process and thus causing malnutrition in the cattle? This is also an animal welfare issue.

I drink goat milk. Looks like I'll now be buying butter and cheese from goats and sheep. And only Greek yogurt, not Greek 'style'. Aldi do yogurt made in Greece and it's no more expensive. Seed oils are another real nasty, sold as healthy. Extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil are a good alternative.

It's safety is unproven although the company obviously says otherwise. It was tested on many animals mice, rats, goats, rabbits, beagles and then cows. Many suffered side effects including infertility in the male mice, and tumours in others, but I can't remember which species. Now humans are the last part of the experiment.... The farmers who supply Arla products will have no choice in the matter. The measuring of methane seemed a bit hit and miss tbh, from what I read. The general public need to know it's in the products. Our food is ladened with chemicals already, we need less not more!
