It's time the British public started looking at labels and understanding what rubbish we put into our bodies. Most of it is ultra processed or covered in pesticide. And you wonder why you don't see any bugs on your windscreen and bumpers now......Well done Budget Cooking for shedding more light on the issues.

This is true. The lack of insects splattered on windscreens is very telling. We need insects to pollinate our food. No wonder MSM is avoiding the bovaer story because generally people do not want any more additives on top of an already saturated use in foods. Bovaer the straw that broke the camels back perhaps? Look at my community page, I found something very interesting about Norway and what they're doing re bovaer.

As a matter of interest, I emailed Lidl Sweden and they said that 'Bovaer has been tested to EU standards (and a load of simplistic waffle) and they will stock Bovaer cattle produced products' - My question had been actually whether they would clearly mark those products and their roundabout and really crap answer was a "no" with some attempt to justify and cover it up. I emailed the Swedish organic farming cert group KRAV, whose marking/certification standard is high, as to whether they would label Bovaer products and they said they would not put the clear KRAV marking on any packaging which has a Bovaer product contained within, as 'it has not been sufficiently tested and therefore we should err on the side of care and caution'. So Lidl show a total contempt for consumer choice, yet KRAV are doing the sensible thing. Interesting how many supermarkets don't give a hoot about customer opinion...oligopoly/political control, anyone?

We know that companies who use the chemical poisons in their products will not not be happy to inform us of that. So it would be far more helpful if farmers and companies who DON’T use the additives marked their products with ‘Bovaer Free’ labels. Then we wouldn’t have to search through lists of codes etc while we are shopping. They would benefit as well as the customers.

This is worth asking of the brands especially UK wide ones like Freshways, Paynes, Grahams and all Organic. Funnily enough they did this in Norway, although the opposite saying this milk comes from a bovaer fed cow. When people weren't buying it, they dropped the label.

I am so glad that my next door neighbour works at Trewithen Dairies and that I personally know the Mr.Rodda from Rodda's dairy. Living in Cornwall does have its advantages despite the blue and white tartan skies when the weather appears to be favourable. By the way, summer this last year here in Cornwall was on a Wednesday in this June due to "unforeseen" circumstances previously agreed by Davos and some within the Westminster bubble. Even the local cows were going on strike over the bid to remove their pastures in favour of wind and solar farms.... and we Cornish folk know how to fart in a "proper" manner.... long live full fart milk and beef....we know what is proper good for us! And to top it all, my husband who passed a few months ago stipulated that a full round of Cornish Yarg cheese was to be supplied at his wake - needless to say I obliged! Not one scrap Arla crap was provided - jam first on the scones of course. 😉😉😉

Much gratitude Kerry for your super sleuthing 🙏 This codes list is a great find ! In the absence of transparent labelling (big brother knows what's best), we desperately need more universal databases. We are in an era where people are going to have to reclaim their power and responsibility, which can only be achieved by us coming together- which can only be a good thing in the long run.

Even if you check the codes you still need to check the source in more detail. Just checked CO OP milk code PR014 and it states Robert Wiseman Dairies and when googled it came up with this - Robert Wiseman Dairies opened a dairy in Bridgwater in September 2008, which is considered to be Britain's most efficient and environmentally advanced fresh milk dairy. In January 2012, the company agreed to a takeover by the family run, German dairy company, Müller, and was returned to private ownership.

Yes I put that info on the vlog 👍 muller and arla buy out smaller dairies. Monopolising the industry. Buy small buy local wherever possible but not everyone has a budget that can shop at farm shops, being tied to shopping at budget supermarkets. At least we now know how to identify own brand supermarket dairy👍if we want to avoid buying muller or arla etc

You could also look at the bottom of the supermarket brands plastic milk containers as there is a small Arla stamp there , Not sure if it's on all supplied Arla milk but it's a quick initial way to check .

As someone from the USA who only drinks A2 cream (I don't eat other dairy bc of carbs) and pays almost 10 dollars for a tiny bottle, it warms my heart to see lovely UK ppl caring about their food. We have mostly Holstein cows for US dairy, A1 garbage. So many think they have allergies but it'sjust that A1 enzyme! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!❤️❤️❤️

You could be A2 milk in the UK in all the major supermarkets for a 2-4 years but they suddenly stopped it. Probably the milk cooperatives (mafia) believed it was gaining popularity and no one was buying the usual mixed (A1 with A2) milk and would leave the A1 dairy farmers out of pocket.damn shame as I love milk but have an intolerance to A1.

Typo: ..... You could buy A2 in the UK at one time....

Went to Iceland the other day & was hopeful of getting some Freshways milk but we were really letdown by the milk being Muller instead. We were only a short distance from the Wishaw store where you were Kerry! I guess we just have to be vigilant and check each time to see who provides the milk etc on any given day as it may change or different milk may be sent to different stores?!

Because these companies are so huge and supply all of the main supermarkets unless people do what you suggest, which will be a major inconvenience, they will have no way of avoiding bovaer cattle products, making a boycott less effective. I believe an effective targeted approach would be to use just one of the main retailer's in your area for dairy regardless of their suppler (this should be more agreeable to the not so discerning) and boycott dairy products from all the rest until they label their dairy items, 'From bovaer free cattle' . We have settled on Asda only because they were not on the original list. "Divide and Conquer" Regards

Thanks for video and the hard work, I Have found the list very confusing would it be possible although you may not know every one a list of companies/farms/producers that are not using bovear milk

What frustrates me more about this is the disregard the state/ companies have over informed consent (authoritarianism light). I want to be able to make a choice (informed choice) not just have a party line shoved down my throat, the past has shown us on many occasions, that even when we are told by experts (companies paid scientists) that “it’s Safe” “BBC miss-information” has after time transpired that it is indeed not safe! And should no longer be used.

Thank you for all your help and bringing it to peoples attention. Far as I know someone told me Tom Parker‘s cream is okay. Grahams milk is okay and then the butter I’ve been using Kerry Gold and IVys and also president squirting cream only issue it’s more expensive than obviously the shop brands but that’s what I have to do. Anyway, hope you have a marvellous Christmas all the best. 😻🙏👍

That's fab, I had not heard of tom parker creamery and have seen their bovaer free statement - have added them to my growing bov free suppliers list! Merry Christmas!🐮🎄💕

I was wondering if there are any diseases that humans have where treated cows milk with Bovea would affect general health. However, even if not, I am glad so many people are making a stand against our food being adulterated without our knowledge.

Thank you so much for all your hard work. Just to clarify: all the dairies in your list use bovaer?
@budgetcookinguk19 күн бұрын
Do you mean the codes list? No, that's just a really quick way to identify where say milk in a supermarket own brand comes from. Majority will be muller or arla but freshways provides milk to Iceland and they're not using bovaer (whereas muller and arla are) hope that makes sense🐮💕 Other bovaer free milk in supermarkets are Graham's and Paynes milk and all organic is free of it too👍
