Any discussion on the Pan Am hijacking that doesnt pay respects to NEERJA BHANOT , the 22 yr old Indian flight attendant he keeps mentioning is disgraceful . She showed exceptional bravery ,alerted the pilots so they cud escape but remained back with the passengers herself, hid the american passports ,opened up the exits & finally sacrificed her life when she was shot trying to shield 3 children from bullets . But westerners obviously "forget" to even honour her with a mention .

The flight attendant, her name was Neerja Bhanot, she was an Indian. She opened the doors and made sure all the children got out for which the terrorists shot her in the head point blank. Remember the name, that's the least one can do.

I can excuse Mike for forgetting her name but atleast the journalists should have had the courtesy of mentioning Neerja Bhanot. If not for her quick thinking and selfless bravery most of those people would have suffered. Disappointing.

Hmm I my family did not get a call. I was 6 1/2 when I was on this plane and my family had first class tickets. We saw everything from the start and then were moved to the middle of the plane. The Indians were treated like trash after the incident.
