If parents want their children want to be Islamic and pray five times a day whilst at school then either go and find an Islamic school or go to live in an Islamic country that allows that. We have the standards, but don't enforce them, or require people to recognise and accept the prevailing culture and assimilate into it. That used to happen, many decades ago, but now we have to have 'diversity' and 'diverse cultures', as though they are an unparalleled good. They are not. I lived and worked in the Middle East so have a modicum of understanding of the culture. Without this experience most people have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. I saw and heard some unspeakable things and the vile hatred is palpable. Unfortunately there is a significant element of extremism, enough to be very concerned. Patrick is spot on.
