The statement shown in this video is, for me, evidence that the Tory party hasn't learnt a thing. They hold us in as much contempt today as they did over the last 14yrs. It's not just that they're blaming Reform for the loss of the WFA, for the risk now posed to farmers and food security, and for the tax impact on jobs, it's that this statement contradicts the Tory party leader. On several occasions Kemi has said or written that her party made mistakes and that they must own up to them. But this statement is saying the opposite: it's saying that we are where we are today simply because Reform exists - nothing to do with the numerous errors made by the Tory party from 2010 - 2024. Of course what they actually mean is that we, the public, are to blame for the mess because we voted for Farage's party instead of accepting that only the Tories have the divine right to rule from the Right. But it''s not just that they are acting as if they are a party jammed to the rafters with people suffering from narcissistic personality disorder, it's exactly the point you made: that the Tory party is still peddling the line that if we vote Reform we'll get Labour. It's the insult to our intelligence that angers me. They really do think we've got the critical thinking skills of a neanderthal, don't they?

The arrogance and entitlement of the Tories is off the scale. It is the Conservative Party that delivered the Labour government. Reform is offering a strong alternative whereas the Tories have proved time and again they lie and renege on pledges. It is they who should step aside and allow the people to choose between Labour and a real conservative party.

@maccagrabme2 күн бұрын
They had 27 years between them and destroyed what we once had and their policies are going to make things far worse than they currently are whereas Reform actually have policies such as the 20k tax threshold, smart immigration, allowing ICE vehicles to be manufactured beyond twenty 30 and encouraging growth via cutting waste and new technology whereas the alternative is no growth, no innovation, no new technology, no wealth creation, no ownership, no choice, no freedom, no country.

@@lesleylamy how is that even an argument Les? Since the Conservatives and Labour have done exactly this, why on earth even if it's 100% true would this stop us from voting Reform instead? At least Reform have never formed a government before, at least they don't have a century's long track record of blunder, scandal and failure to deliver like the main two.

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now l'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling.,,

I don't agree that this fight berween Badenoch and The Reform UK party is good news for Starmer - it's given Reform a huge amount of free publicity and reminded conservatives why they didn't vote Tory while getting Reform's membership over 150,000. That is a great result for Reform and really quite scary for the many Labour MPs in marginal seats. Result for Reform!!
