Never mind the trains, the £2 bus fare cap rises soon to £3. If you have two legs to go to work, into town, out of town ,then both return. That is 4 legs at £3 each if they are different companies and dont accept each others tickets. That is £12 a day, £60 for a five day week!!! £60 will last several weeks in a car for the same runs , and you can go shopping etc etc.

This poll is bad news for Reform supporters who want to break from traditional Tory politics. It shows that only the Tory party can win a majority over Labour. There are too many dyed in the wool Tory voters that will not cross over to Reform. The Tory party have been so bad over the last 14 years and they still won more votes than Reform at the last election. This poll is just additional validation to those voters that the Tory party are the only ones with any chance of overtaking Labour at the next election. Reform need to start winning Tory MP defections to have any chance of gaining more ground.

Theres a really easy way to stop strikes... Listen to the workers who understand how the railway works and stop demanding nonsensical things of them. Asking them to do more for less is never going to work. They were forced to continue working throughout Covid to keep the country moving in a pay freeze while inflation hit 24% between pay increases. Now the government are trying to make them change their contracts to bring Sunday into the Working Week. Altering every workers roster. For no recompense.
