Until recently I lived next to a hotel with over 1,000 beds in a busy area of London which got flooded with migrants 2 years back. As the hotel filled up I noticed changes in the neighborhood that made daily life increasingly challenging. There was a noticeable rise in men making uncomfortable gestures and noises towards women, as well as an uptick in littering and various crimes. The types of crime ranged from petty thefts at local shops to more serious assaults on staff who tried to intervene. Despite clear CCTV footage, the police didn’t take action, even though some of the perpetrators were recognized. Noise was a constant issue, with groups gathering in car parks until the early hours, blasting music and sometimes engaging in drug dealing or more severe gang activity, including incidents involving machetes that led to tragic outcomes. As the situation worsened, and with no support from the police, council, or hotel management, I eventually felt I had no choice but to leave. The noise was affecting people’s sleep and jobs, and despite paying taxes, residents were left to deal with the fallout alone. I rarely follow any news channels (this video popped up randomly), but I wanted to share my experience for others who may not have encountered something similar. I consider myself fairly neutral, but seeing the situation escalate without intervention changed my perspective, especially when some of the migrants began protesting for more resources while disrupting the neighborhood and impacting the lives of residents.

Enough is enough......Thousands of British homeless families because of lack of housing. And many struggling with cost of living, paying council tax etc. Pensioners deprived of fuel allowance. Thank you for your hard work sir same here in Ireland my dad had to stop working after a heart attack took over a year of him linning up with smiling migrants 80 to 90 percent. He felt so deflated given form after form to take home while watching them walk out with there dole and disability cards. Dad worked since 15 and started paying taxes since 18 had a heart attack at 55 him main artery was blocked and he had to change his lifestyle had to stop smoking cold turkey to have to deal with this. They already have everything about him on file he has contributed more to the country than 1000 of them but he had to go back and forth for 8 months for basically Pennys. Absolute joke last time I was in there it was all Ukrainians and arabs or Africans I spotted 2 Irish dudes sitting together who I sat with. An African lady was shouting like she worked there to the other migrants on what to do I assume and given them the forms. Same with a Ukrainian woman who I heard say in broken English this how you get most money for children you have wrong form
