Calling out the S Gundam for having trouble against the Delta might be misleading since the ranged kit of the S Gundam can still dish out devastating damage to the Delta even without meleeing. However, the S Gundam will have to rely on its optional rapid-fire smart gun for that build.

Well, my thought process is, S Gundam can't do that much to it if it can't isolate it and spam rapid fire beams. Even in this situation I think the Delta Gundam has a pretty good shot at getting the knockdown and running away, the two insta stuns are really useful.

@@avenger1_gbo260 I see what you mean, I hope you bring out the S Gundam in this current meta for 600 and 650 soon. I currently have it as my favorite pick as an +A player but I'm on PC.

@@yoyoyouka yeah it's a 600 cost general that deals very good burst damage with its shield cannons and plates though beware on maps with lots of cover like the city or base maps I'd you locked onto a target and they get behind a building the plates won't fly around it and just return to you

I've been speculating if this suit post buff would be crazy, Its hard to ignore its existence as a support main when you see stuff like this lol 0:51 Its the closest we will get to a suit being immune to a certain damage type.

Im happy this got buffed, but there are a number of other new-ish supports that feel like they could use some love after recent power creep. Sisquiede, GP00, Jesta Canon, and a number of others that feel a little too reliant on having team protection when the meta units are far more capable of defending themselves. Pale Rider DII is my pet suit that i want to see some love for. Balancers and a rework to the Hyper Beam Rifle - the latter of which would benefit a pretty large number of units - would be nice. I still feel like better vulcans and things, incendiary effects, and some niche skills that can give you short advantages (basically anything with touchpad activation thats only on a handful of units). And maybe some better downswings with some more reach. We see this working really well on most of the clan match units that otherwise feel mostly like minor reskins. And grenades could use an overhaul. Just a bit more explosive radius on many suits, maybe some incendiary or jamming effects, and more build stun/instant stun/ ability to throw two in a row fast enough to stun. At least let them move faster in space and have a little proximity detonation, as they turn into nearly-useless, inferior mines for a lot of units that otherwise get them as additional dps and stun combos on the ground. It feels downright wasyed on units like Jesta (could really use a dodge by now) and ECOAS Jegan, where they make up a big part of a kit but undermine the space compatibility.

Wouldn’t the beam coating help it from demeter since it relies on beam and funnels?

Demeter also has a really good build stun which beam coating doesn't protect against iirc.

Kind of. Demeter can't instant stagger it, but it can still stagger accumulate it and one combo it with melee. Delta Gundam has no real defence against a mid-air Demeter rushing it down with funnels.

​@@avenger1_gbo260What's your take on the players who go all out with beam resistance on Delta? I've seen some really good players doing it, including some going for 60+ at 650. Personally, it feels like a big investment to lower damage during the first half of your HP, which can be turned into almost nothing, but can also end up useless against anything with common wrist grenades or good Vulcans, which can be really common for a while now. I've been preferring the Delta as a semi-General for the most part. Able to shoot at mid-range, but also decent as closing in against a lot of suits ( especially Yonghwavin, lately) when it's above 50%.

@@scottwrathfon9872 I prefer to just stack HP, since it helps against all 3 damage types. It might be worth investing a little bit into beam resist but I wouldn't get more than 40 for the Delta Gundam.

When I first grab this suit and read what beam coating does, I decided to "let me just throw in all beam resist" not sure that's dumb idea or a good idea lol

How do you think the lv2 is compared to Zeta 3B?

I have this suit. I main support suit or range type generals. I could easily say, Zeta 3B is really just a “support” backline suit with the heavy stagger beam rifle. But the reload is seriously long also no good follow-up weapon both the grenade and shield machine guns are seriously meh. One of the suit I am having hard time doing 150k or more damage. Jagd Doga Quess, Silver Bullet Suppressor and Canongan are for me the better options in 650 support. For me the Anti-Beam coating on this one is better than Delta. I could see Delta performing more with more stagger and constant dps than Zeta 3B but the only problem is, it is much more squishier.

​@@RaıserMK2For that problem we need to utilize the 3B flight form to maximize the dmg output which i can say playing other 650 support especially SBS is much easier if you didn't or can't use the flight form that well enough

@@EvaInu bruh flight form is also a weak though. Only good thing about that is the be rifle. The nozzle beam gun and the shield machine gun on the flight form is also doing wet noodle damage.
