GBO2 Gundam G07: The ultimate RX-78!

This video contains two matches I had with the recently released LV1 Gundam Unit 7 on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 500 cost general with incredible stagger accumulation, multiple instant stagger options, amazing strafing speed, access to LV3 EX Boost, good melee damage and enough weapons to be able to constantly shoot. Its major weakness is having just 15000 HP, which makes it easy to nuke if caught out of position. This suit surprises me with how powerful it is, it kind of feels like a Pale Rider VG but with a pocket Alex bazooka ready to go at any time. In terms of stun ability I could basically call it the stagger accumulation version of Kampfer. I hope that you enjoy watching!
The 7th Gundam can choose between a beam rifle or a hyper bazooka for its primary weapon. The beam rifle seems to be best for midrange flexibility and ease of use in accumulation combos. The beam rifle has 1700 (2720) power, 1.5 seconds cooldown, 60% (80%) heat, 16 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 450m (500m) range, 2 seconds focus time and 65% (70%) stagger value. This does not instant stagger with uncharged shots but they have low heat and great stagger accumulation, so you can combo it into your vulcans or arm beam gun. Charged shots instant stagger with high damage and pretty good heat.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 1950 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and standard modifiers. This shares the same melee moveset as the FA 7th Gundam. It has mediocre damage on its own but the fast swap time makes it easy to use as a combo starter.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 110 power, 40 ammo, 512 RPM, 9 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 175m range, 939 DPS and 5% stagger value. This has high DPS and can stagger enemies in about 2.3 seconds, it combos well with your other weapons.
Its second sub weapon is a dual wield beam saber with 2400 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 80%x2 downswing modifier. You can't start and end combos with the downswing from this weapon, but it hits very hard. Just be wary of the short range of its initial swing.
Its third sub weapon is an arm grenade launcher with 1200 power, 4 ammo, 5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range and 10% stagger value. This has low damage but each shot instant staggers. Each shot has really great splash radius as well, so it is an easy to use tool which you can use to continue shooting or to get into melee range.
Its fourth sub weapon is an arm beam gun with 400 power, 15% heat, 180 RPM, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, 1200 DPS and 20% stagger value. This has short range, but pretty decent DPS alongside enough stagger power to stun in about 1.6 seconds. It combos very well with your beam rifle.
It also has a large shield with 4000 HP. This has a decent amount of HP and good coverage, it boosts your walking and turning speed by 15% once broken.
The LV1 7th Gundam has 15000 HP, 17 ballistic resist, 19 beam resist and 18 melee resist. This level of HP makes you quite squishy, so you won't be able to frontline as well as a bulky general can. Its only defensive skill is LV1 Emergency Evasion.
It also has 135 walking speed, 210 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 60 turning speed. It has below average turning speed which can be a pain, but otherwise it has good mobility. It has similar strafing speed to the Alex, with what feels like 100% side strafe speed, making it incredible at playing around cover. It also has access to LV2 Flight Control and LV2 Forced Injector.
It also has access to a newly added skill called EX Boost LV3. This grants you infinite thrust for 20 seconds upon pressing the touchpad, +20 boost speed, +20 turning speed and +20% damage for 3 seconds after landing from a boost, but it can only be used once per life and your thrusters have to cool down for 21 seconds after the timer ends.
Overall I think that the 7th Gundam will be a strong choice for 500 cost. It is squishy and a little tricky to play, but the stagger output and great strafing speed gives it huge potential. LV3 EX Boost is especially powerful, since you can turn around being overheated and surely dead into a situation where you can overwhelm them with 20 seconds of infinite thrust. I can definitely recommend rolling for it if you want an all rounder 500 cost general. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

Dual Beam sabers as subweapon, actually useful vulcans, better manageable beam rifle and great grenade launcher instead of that joke of napalm (that doesn't burn) So they basically did everything people always asked for in terms of offensive capability...They just went a bit overboard into the actual RX-78 line people have been asking for all of this for so long huh Gramps fans be like 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

man I truly been waiting for this suit to come out for a very long time, and it has to be the next thing after I spend on something before it -_- oh well I just hope the god by the end of the week I can be able to pull for it.

7th Gundam is a better version of Gundam itself. Now I really wished Gundam needs a buff so that players should it more in 400-500 costs. It should fight similar to 7th Gundam.

Hopefully. They could reasonably make the og Gundam play like 7th, in terms of stagger accumulation and mobility.

They should buff it but I'm fairly confident we're eventually going to see powered up variants of it too. We've talked a lot about a "end of the series" Gundam but I could see them put in the Origin varient with the shoulder cannon as an option too.
