That explains why this rather infamous player shinigamidaikou_ still folds me Sazabi's technically the strongest in the game in terms of close range if you use it right

Btw, question - is Long Rifle worth the tix? I do like the look of Sazabi's playstyle now, but is it much of a difference over the default rifles for it and moon gundam? I'm a bit low on rt (1000) and waiting for lvl 1 byarlant custom to roll back through so want to make sure it's a big playstyle upgrade I guess lol.

Long rifle is worth it if you want to shoot more with Sazabi, it has quite good midrange potential like that.

I know the dev said shotgun got a buff to it stunning power, but it still feels inconsistent to me. Does it feel that way to you?

Well the actual stagger accumulation was not buffed, it still does 20% per pellet and shoots 8 of them. The buff increased the projectile size and made the spread tighter, so it is now more consistent to use even at 200m range. Still not enough to one shot break raids LV4 Maneuver Armor, but you can combo into follow funnels for extra stagger accumulation.

the beam shotgun is very effective at breaking MA in combination with any of your tools and if all of them hit you can even knock a SInanju Stein out of it's manuever armor in close range. Long rifle is good for if you want to have strong ranged options.

I prefer the long rifle now cause it gives you a lot of versatility. The shotgun is good but TBH, only for maps where you can melee a lot.

they are try to raise whole 700 power level, so I don't think they gonna nerf norn. Poor raid can't stand out in 550 and above cost ( maybe 650 might be the most comfortable ?)

Well it was kind of ok before Banshee Norn came out, but it had no chance after that. I don't play on PC much but it seems like Freedom would give it a hard time as well. Once the buffs come to PC, the Sazabi should wreck Freedom Gundam if you can use the stagger accumulation combos.
