Never owned a native 700 cost unit before. Always had to use lvl 2s, 3s, and 4s. But I pulled it on a single, and I realized what I had been missing out on in 700 cost. Things busted too.

i consider the jesta a team to be equally as busted cuz stealth also the recent ezz buffs really gave it some shine back its lost w the unicorn trio being added still the stein is absolutely a monster and shouldn’t be underestimated

Stealth plus heavy attack plus flying around the map like Superman is definitely some of the most busted stuff for a suit to have in this game.

TBH Jesta Team A is one of those suits whose power level depends on how much the enemy can deal with stealth. If you are unaware of it then yeah it can just sneak up behind you with heavy attacks all day and go to town. But if you use headphones and listen for the loud footsteps and booster noises, you can pretty much nullify the stealth advantage. Without stealth the Team A isn't much of a threat at all. The flap booster lets it take unconventional routes to attack you but that is another thing to learn to counter. I was playing 700 cost city ruins the other day with LV3 Zeta C1 and they had a Team A Jesta. I only had two deaths that game because I listened out for the Jesta so I knew where it was, even though I couldn't see it on radar because of the stealth. So I think Stein is stronger because its power level isn't reliant on the enemy knowing how to properly counter the stealth skill or not.

How did the sinanju not counter you both times, and the moon during the heavy attack at the end?

Honestly I have no idea. My only explanation is that maybe he tackled too late, and I managed to cancel the heavy attack early. Cause it has really low recovery, letting you boost out of it earlier than you might think. The Sinanju at around the 4 minute mark didn't actually touch me, so he can't proc a counter without his tackle physically hitting my suits body.

Banshee being able to combo into the heavy claw attack from beam sabers combo is the most broken thing I've seen in this game since I've been playing for 3 years.

Well tbh I feel it is the other way around. Banshee you can just keep at a distance and deal with it via a strong general like Sazabi, Sinanju or Moon Gundam. So it doesn't feel too bad to fight. But Stein just has so much overpowered aspects that I feel like it takes the cake.

@baconflaps any 700 raid can stunlock and destroy a support with ranged weapons only if they really want, lol. Sure Banshee would have a harder time doing it than Stein, but Banshee can kill ANY suit in just one full combo.

Is Stein much stronger than anyone expected and proved its spot on the meta? Definitely. A versatile mid-range spammer whose melee is rather potent on ambushing with heavy attacks. Even thought the only other 700 raid I own is the recently buffed Enhanced ZZ, I seen enough of the others to feel they're just as capable in this meta. EZZ can better maintain ranged harassment on a support just as well and its long beam saber (and the fact it has two separate sabers as an alternate weapon) allows it to confirm hits easier before effectively going combo mode. Its flying mode can be kind of risky, but also good for if a support decides to get on a rooftop. Banshee has an instant-stun that's much quicker to pull out compared to Stein's rocket launcher. Its NT-D mode not only gives it the expected busted bonuses to melee, but heals its limbs in case your legs get blown off, which is incredibly useful for a nimble raid. That and there's that one time you shown off Banshee being able to confirm a heavy attack from a full melee combo (Stein can *kind of* do the same thing with its fuel rods gone and in

TBH Stein is OP but only when you consider all the aspects of the loadout. EZZ has good shooting but the 0.5 second cooldown of the beam rifle on Stein means you can get so much burst damage with it, so I think it is better overall. Leading with bazooka into beam rifle spam just deletes any support no matter what, while EZZ can't burst them down as fast. EZZ has better normal melee than Stein for sure but I still think that Stein heavy attack is far more practical than the EZZ one. It has a really fast and long reaching motion with high power, so you can use it to flank enemies really well. Even just waiting for an ally to stun and then unleashing it works amazingly. Yeah Banshee has great stuns for close quarters and it can get in well with NT-D, but it absolutely has to go for melee while Stein isn't forced to do this. If Banshee is walled out by good generals then it is kind of out of luck unless it wants to chance using that stop to fire beam at the risk of being shot by generals. But Stein in a similar situation can just use its long range shooting to harrass and melt the support from a distance. Banshee can confirm its heavy attack from a saber downswing, but outside of this I feel like Stein heavy attack is actually stronger. Stein heavy attack actually becomes just as damaging as Banshee if not more once the 50% HP psychoframe resonance activates, it is also much more practical to use than the short ranged and slow Banshee heavy attack. Stopping Stein is very difficult for generals as well. The stuns are great, the stun value on the beam rifle and cooldown means you can stop incoming generals in just 0.5 seconds. Add the bazooka on top and its very easy to just wall out generals with smart shooting. And even if they do get past that to go for melee, Stein can just use the fuel tanks purge as a get out of jail free card and turn the tables on them. Even if after all of that the Stein still fails to stop them, it takes 50% less melee damage once its HP drops below 50%. So generals that are not Moon Gundam will struggle to effectively deal with it with their usually high damaging melee combos. And yeah I agree, 700 cost is becoming pretty well balanced other than a couple of exceptions. It feels like every LV1 700 coster can at least compete on a nearly even playing field, even some LV2 650 costers can do well enough. Sazabi is squishy by default but if you load up on the right parts I discovered that it is actually one of the most durable. It can take 24600 HP and over 40 in every resistance, so combine that with the shield and LV3 Leg Buffer, then it is really bulky.

Surprisingly far actually. You can toss them while jumping and they sorta follow your reticle. Really hard to accurately use though.

@@matthewwong221 Well I think the only broken 700 cost suits are Stein and Phenex, so avoid them if you don't want to play broken suits. Every other LV1 700 coster is well balanced and viable I think. Even some LV2 650 costers like Qubeley, Silver Bullet, The-O, Ex-S and ReZEL Defencer can perform well in 700 cost.
