GBRS Group Assaulters Belt System V3, Review

Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the GBRS Group Assaulters Belt System V3, This is a belt that is on the pricer side for Airsoft but is a nice belt system. You will hear in the review in the end that I don't quite like it as much as my LAB belt system but that is mostly due to the Hook and loop orientation and if they were reversed I would have absolutely LOVED this belt.

The belts retail for 199.99$ so as I said these aren't cheap belts and getting one and then finding out it isn't quite your cup of tea sucks but that's exactly why I do this channel. I am still playing around with the belt and overall have it in a configuration that I find to be comfortable for my use and running it with an HSGI Sure-Grip belt pad helps negate the velcro issue but that then defeats the purpose of the 2 belt system.

Just saw this stuff this morning. It is pretty shitty. The whole situation is garbage and should and could have been handled better and differently by GBRS group. I am interested to see if they are going to make a public statement about this. If they have, I haven't seen it.

I don't like GBRS as a company, but man their belt, for me, its just the best. I'd love to cope one for my personal use (you know what type of use😏) I like how the sticked to the big cobra, the use of the tegris as a molle platform and the reverse of the velcro, to me makes more sense for when you can't wear your top tucked on the pants, so if you need to wear coldweather gear it won't destroy that top. The AWS belt also is a top belt but for me this one is a bit better😬

The velcro reversal makes some sense in that regard but that is why almost every belt has something you can add to it for wear without the inner belt. The hook innerbelt just seems to get caught up on everything.

GBRS and LBT are the only companies whom I can look at when it comes to getting myself some MAS Grey goodies. While their belt never really caught my attention that much (since the price is very prohibitive for my poor wallet 😂), it is a cool one which I’ll do admit, but the hook inner belt like you said, is a terrible way to get your pants shredded up bit by bit ‘till you’ll have no pants by the time you get into your 10th or how many times you’ve joined an Airsoft match. Still going to stick with the IDOGEAR and (possibly) the AXL Eclipse belt.

I really do like the belt overall but I have come to realize I do not care for the Hook on the inner belt. It is the same reason I no longer have the Eagle Industries belt. The GBRS offering is lighter than some of my other belts due to their use of Tegris and it is not difficult to work with or adjust but I will probably part ways with this one and go with another AWS LAB or possible a newer iteration of the Pale Horse concepts belt.
