Thanks for this one! Shame about the chip on 9 (cruel!) and the drive on 12, although you should've had a go hitting your second shot over the rock towards the green as you had mulligans turned on 🙂 Are the phantom swings anything to do with the reflective top of your driver? Have you tried putting some dull tape (non-sticky, e.g. masking tape) over the top? It looks like the Falcon could be picking up a reflection off the top of the driver when you waggle it. Not that it should, of course.

I took a sharpie and filled in the white lines on the driver. It seems to happen with other clubs too. I am playing around with the lighting and am going to film a round on the FSX Play software to see if it is happening through using GSPro. It definitely has something to do with reflection/lighting. No mulligans when I film! Need maintain total transparency. Thanks for watching!!

any idea how the falcon compares to the quad? I'm trying to decide between the two.

2 differences. No putting data with the Falcon. The issue with the quad is having to move it for left and right hand players. Both very accurate!

Currently, there seems to be very little real world user experience shared on YT with the foresight Falcon. Excited to see your video. Has the phantom swing issue been resolved? After living with it for a couple months, what is your overall level of satisfaction with the Falcon? I will soon be pulling the trigger on a ceiling mounted launch monitor and it seems the decision will be between the EYE X02 and the Falcon.

Did you mount this the full 10-12 feet from the screen? Im afraid of lofted clubs going beyond the top of the screen

My enclosure comes back to the hitting area. My prior sim only had a 5 ft canopy and it wasn’t an issue. Re- ask your question if this doesn’t make sense.

You think it is a simple firmware update to fix the reading of your club waggle? I am thinking of getting the falcon Vs The apogee

It has been getting better. Could be a room lighting issue as well, but it is happen far less often than it did originally. Just frustrating when playing in a format when you can’t correct it like an online tournament. Overall very happy with the product.

These mountain courses are designed and meant to be played at altitude. You really are putting yourself at a huge disadvantage by playing the tips at sea level. Give it another crack at the intended elevation. Bet you break par.
