I am using office 365 subscription. what you mean by currently possible in every version? I don't see File tab and options in my powerpoint.

@@brickamaze if you're on a Mac, hit cmd + comma (or open ppt preferences) and go to the "save" options. At the bottom of that menu, you'll see options for font embedding. If you're on a Windows, follow his instructions. Hope this helps!

maybe I am missing something...can we not embed the fonts we want to use in PowerPoint directly? I followed steps on enabling that ability as described in the video. I now want to add my custom fonts to the project. How can we do that without installing fonts into all of Windows? I only need my custom fonts for to be associated to this PowerPoint project.

Is this backwards compatible too? Like if you embed a font in 365 then go somewhere where they only have 2011 or something, will it still work?

Hello! Yes, this is backwards compatible and you should be able to go as far back as PowerPoint 2007. Hope this helps!
