GCM Bench - Tire Mix and Match with Beadlocks

Chris from GCM puts a 1.9 Beadlock inside a 1.7 Bogger using a CI 1.9 Deuces Wild foam! Crazy parts matching, but the results are great! Check it out!

Hi there! Good video! What foam recommenations do you have for RC4WD Mickey Thompson 1.9 Baja MTZ 4.6 tires? I live in Norway so we do have very similar weather as you canadians... My foams get flat very easely, even when running non stock foams..

MrCaprinut I would like to visit Norway! Nice place. Try using the Crawler Innovations Deuce Wild foam for the TSL-XL size 1.9 tire. It should be a great match for that 4.6 tire size.

I saw your running vid and I think your tires are too stiff with the CI foams stuffed in. What is your opinion on the matter?

Antoine A-A They are more stiff than I am familiar with, generally I use softer foams than the DW foam from CI, BUT... I have to add here, that in the Jeep SHakedown (the last video) I proved that this jeep and this wheel and foam setup will go the exact same places as the softer foams and pitbull rock beast tire will go. The testing ground on the rock faces never changes. It's a perfect terrain and climbs to test trucks, because there's the same rock, same angles, same holes, and never any dirt to mess up the test. With that said, this jeep went everywhere my Red jeep will go and this time it's using the CI hard foams... I agree it looks like there's not enough tire squish, but the proof is that it still climbs the same places and has the same capability. Now it just has way better steering. haha

Good then :D I just thought the tires were a little bouncy from lug to lug. It was less of good continuous contact patch and more of one lug to another traction with no traction in-between every lug. Maybe its just in the nature of the tire having lugs so spaced out, but it really looked like the lugs were not folding at all! Anyway, enough rambling, if it performs thats good enough :P BTW where do you get you supply of CI foams in Canada? :D
