GCOR 2nd Edition Updates & Changes, AT&SF 1989

Another old rules training video presented for historical and general educational purposes. This one was made to cover significant changes made with the Second Edition of the General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR), which at that time, still incorporated the traditional rules numbering system rather than the computer user manual numbering.
Lots of train and crew shots, which should prove interesting as well.

Interesting rules I didn't know there was that many a train conductor must know a lot before operating that train and that's good the way it should thank you for sharing this video 👍🇺🇸

That is not GCOR. That is NORAC.

What? NORAC covered mostly railroads in the Northeast. What exact;y do you mean?

GCOR was numbered in similar fashion to NORAC prior to the 3rd edition. Both rule books have their roots in the Standard Code of the A.A.R. By the 3rd edition, a text book author was brought in by the GCOR committee to reformat the rule book.
