I believe the "lag" is your pc, not your internet. If your internet goes out, usually you continue moving and get caught up when you're back but since you freeze, I think it's your pc/game

Your lag isn't from server lag but it's your pc freezing up for some reason. Could be multiple things like a USB device disconnecting to just outdated drivers
