It really helps in learning French sentence structure, prepositions, conjunctions, correct verb tenses, etc. Everything taught in your other videos but put together and explained step by step in a complete paragraph. Salut Alexa et tout le monde, savez-vous pourquoi vous utilisez deux fois "nous" par exemple "nous nous rencontrons" merci
@lolasantamaria83155 жыл бұрын
In fact, in French you can't just say " We meet" because it makes "Nous rencontrons" and when you say that it doesn't say who you're meeting, like if you said "I meet (nobody)" That's why you have to add a second "nous". I don't know if it's clear, if not send another comment and I'll reply 😊
@learnfrenchwithalexa5 жыл бұрын
It is know as a reflexive pronoun. This means that the verb you are using is reflected back to you. With Nous, its reflexive pronouns is NOUS, For JE it is ME Tu TE Il SE ELLE SE ON SE NOUS NOUS VOUS VOUS ILS SE ELLES SE

Vos vidéos sont incroyables, Alexa. J'enseigne actuellement des adjectifs français aux élèves mais j'ai du mal à savoir quand leur enseigner ceux qui précèdent les noms et quand leur enseigner ceux qui vont après. La plupart des mots courants/communs, qui leur seront appris, sont "grand", "petit", "heureux", "court", "jolie", "beau", "belle" etc, mais comment leur faire comprendre la position des adjectifs sans embrouiller les élèves?
@joculee4 жыл бұрын
Si tel est le cas, je vous dirai que ce genre d'adjectifs qui indiquent la beauté, la grandeur, et l'âge se placent avant le nom, les autres, après. ex grand/petit = grandeur. Jolie, beau, belle et bel = beauté. Vieux/jeune = âge. une grande maison, une petite case, un bel homme, une belle femme, et un homme heureux
@juliosalgado9565 жыл бұрын
Bonjour Alexa. Je suis un étudiant de la langue française par moi-même et je doute comprendre "là". I can understand the phrase but cannot understand the meaning of "-là". Ce qu'on oublie parfois, c'est que ce mur-là, cette barrière-là, elle exist déjà.
@learnfrenchwithalexa5 жыл бұрын
Bonjour, it is a way to point out something . This one there , that one here..... Ce mur là - this wall there. That one.
@joculee4 жыл бұрын
Julio. These are called "particules adverbiales" in French. There are 2 types: ci (derivative of ici) and là (derivative of là bas) ci is used when the object is close to you whilst là is when it's far from you. so "Ce qu'on oublie parfois, c'est que ce mur-là, cette barrière-là, elle existe déjà' means what we sometimes forget is that wall there, that fence there already exists. They are just used for emphasis on proximity and distance.
