In GCSE exams in the UK, subject content such as atoms intersect in physics and chemistry.
@armstrongtixid68734 жыл бұрын
Physics and Chemistry often intersect when it comes to atoms, so it's essential in both sciences. GCSE exams, as @Tigress 007 said, have this in the syllabus for both Physics and Chemistry. Note that not everyone does Chemistry and not everyone does Physics, as some people drop one of them (or even both sometimes), so it's important that Cognito put it in both lists, so no-one misses out.

why do some places say that the shell structure is 2,8,8,18,18 and some say 2,8,18,32?
@nasa43634 жыл бұрын
each shell can contain only a fixed number of electrons: the first shell can hold up to two electrons, the second shell can hold up to eight electrons, the third shell can hold up to 18 and so on. the shells contain electrons around a nucleus and they're called electron configuration. each neutral atom has a number of electrons equal to its number of protons. so each periodic properties hold their own electron configuration (e.c.) ex: Xenon atoms have 54 electrons and the shell structure is 2.8.18.18.8. (btw you're supposed to add the numbers so 2 + 8 + 18 + 18 + 8 = 54

Clearing the mind before engaging with content allows for better concentration and retention of information. Rewinding and rewatching parts of a video that were not understood can reinforce learning, ensuring a thorough understanding of the material presented. This methodical approach to absorbing content can be beneficial for mastering complex subjects. All I am saying in simple terms is before you watch the vid clear your mind and then when watching the vid maybe slow it down to process information properly or rewind if you never understand a certain part. This ensures that you understand the vid and keep it in long term memory. I hope this helps : )
