it might just be because i'm tired but i'm actually close to tears because of how selfless and patient this man is, he clearly understands his stuff and puts the time in to make the absolute best videos to explain them to us. i don't know what i'd have done without him. physics paper 2 on thursday, then i'm done with gcses, but i'll defo be returning for a level chem and bio. i'll return to thank you on results day (hopefully), you've been the greatest help. :)

Revision is more relative to a person- Personally I like to watch videos then do past exam questions on the topic I just revised. It all depends on what you prefer!

i also advise you do try questions after a week, because you're obviously going to remember how to answer after you revised, so if you test yourself after a week, youll see if you remembered it or not :)

Force = spring constant x extension is not given in the exam. This is stated on page 46 of the AQA Physics specification.

so if a rubber band, for example, was stretched and it didnt return to its original shape (inelastically deformed) would it not be classified as an elastic material?

Idk if it matters anymore a year later but no, that just means the rubber band was pushed beyond its limit with a very high force, so that does not classify it as an inelastic material, it just tells us the force applied was too high.

You will be given an equation sheet but it will not include all the equations. It's the equation sheet that was used before COVID.

Does this not contradict Newton's first law? If the forces on a object are balanced then the object will not move, but to stretch the particles of that object must space themselves out as no mass can be transferred to them by a force? What don't I get here?

newton's first law act mostly on inelastic material. this is a special case for elastic material especially springs. here it not stays stationary but stretches out. since this is a unique characteristic of elastic material
