He is the most outstanding composer and musician who revolutionized our national music not one of them. Maestro Khalegh in the History of Iran's Music writes that on the day the Majlis was bombarded, Vaziri and Haj Seyyed Hassan Razzaz (the champion of the Capital) were among the 172 armed revolutionaries who were defending the Majlis from the rooftops of Sepahsalar Mosque against Colonel Vladimir Liakhov and the reactionaries. So, he was not out of Tehran. Thanks for good report and pictures!

Maestro Colonel Vaziri in an interview in one of the issue of the first year of Roodaki magazine mentioned that the only copy of the Oil Symphony was in the hands of one of his good pupils the late Solaiman Sepanloo. Unfortunately, Sepanloo died untimely in his early fifties in Paris and was buried in the Monparnasse cemetery. Maestro Khaleghi, 2 months before his death in Vienna and during travelling in Paris with wife and Golnoosh attended at the Sepanloo's gravesite. Maestro Javad Ma'roofi in the summer of 1986 told me that he has no copy of such piece and only the late Sepanloo had one and it was written for Tar. I asked him if it can be arranged for orchestra too. He said yes. I also, asked Colonel Vaziri's son in law: the late Maestro Hosseinali Mallah in 1986 about the Oil Symphony. He said there is no other copy of it is available except the one that Sepanloo had and nobody know what happened to it after his death. It was good if you would have mentioned that Vaziri wrote 3 more symphonies including "Symphony-e Shoom" about the death of his father, "symphony-e Isaar" that I saw its copy in the National Library and a fourth symphony that do not remember, but Khaleghi has mentied it in the second volume of the foresaid book. Also, Vaziri did not write down the Agha Hosseingholi s "radifs". Because when he went him with Ebrahim Azhang, Agh hosseingholi told him that the radifs of "dadash", his brother is better, because himself was very fast. So, Vaziri and Azhang went to Agha Mirza Abdollah for 2 months and wrote down all of his radifs. Please see Ali Tajvidi's book: Mosighi-e Irani, volume 1 about this story. Because he also mentions that Vaziri was not impressed by the treatment of Agha Hosseingholi and states that as if he went there like the pupils who goto take lessens for paying 2 rials. But he was very pleased with working with Mirza Abdollah for 2 months.
