GDC ( Game Development Conference ) 2000 Microsoft keynote ( Prototype Original Xbox Unveiling )

On Friday, March 10, 2000, between 10:30-11:30 A.M. PST, in the San Jose Civic Auditorium, Bill Gates gave the Opening Address at GDC 2000, where he discussed Microsoft's ongoing commitment to the entertainment market and announced Xbox.

And FAR CRY... original Xbox was the testing ground for directX9 thats why using a Geforce4 DX81 prototype is capable of Directx9 effects and indeed run DX9 games... omg is a directXbox, directx was developed on it.

According to the official documentary there is actually three of these, this is the only one they could get working just prior to the start of GDC. Bill was stalling the entire time basically praying the engineer could get it working enough for demonstration.

Iconic system that started Xbox series of systems off, now you have got the Xbox Series X which innovated and made gaming better even improved, then it was 20 years ago, now it's changed completely even better than last 20 years when Xbox Original first introduced. Take a look back to how games were on the system compared to Xbox Series X now with Xbox 360 backwards compatible and Xbox One games even bringing the Xbox originals to the system.
