There's no direct selection from GDS to any of the above designations unless we clear SSC Exams or In department promotions we will never be promoted as any with GDS by our services it's only like a weightage than other SSC aspirants

Your total service must be 5 years in case of Gds who join before 2022.. And you must complete your 5 yrs at 1st of January so you can apply for the exam.. Gds + mts candidates are eligible in B group for PA dept exam... I hope it will help you in some case

Yes but in category B in which chances of becoming PA is low... You can give exam but can't become PA... You have to work 5 year as MTS or 3 year as POSTMAN to come in category A in which chances of becoming PA is good

Because you GDS can become PA only when there no POSTMAN and MTS left for PA post. Which is really impossible so they don't include gds
