I'd say Melo is the Dominique Wilkins/ Tracy Mcgrady of our era. he may not be as good as guys like Kobe, Lebron or Kd, But he is a great player that gets way under looked. Melo is a beast don't let anyone tell u different.Hes a scoring machine.He has the most versatile offensive game in the NBA.People call him a ball hog and lazy on defensive.Trust me he's not as bad of a defender or passer as people perceive him to be.Hes a 9x all star 6x all NBA team.He has a scoring title 3 gold medals and does not have a championship.He never had the teammates to win.He resigned with the Knicks because he is loyal to NY Knicks and was born in NY.He used to play on the Denver Nuggets.He is a legend of the game.Hes 32 and kind of out of his prime but he is still a very good player.His best Years were 2012-2013 season,2015-2016 and a couple of seasons in Denver.He Career high in points is 62 which a Madison square garden record (Knicks record also).He has been to the western conference finals.He is one of the best scorers of all time.Hope I was helpful and if ur curious about anything else just reply.

I've always thought he was perceived as a kind of "what if" player, because he never went to a better team of won a championship. I find it really cool that he is loyal to his home city, I had always thought that he probably stayed there just cause he had a big contract or something. It does look like it could be frustrating at times to play him, if the shots aren't going in, but when he is on his game he really is a monster. I only started following the NBA last year and I support the Knicks (come from NY). I hope he has a great season and the Knicks look like they have an awesome team!
