Thank you! Yes this is why I make reviews. I hate trying to do my research for a new product and can’t find any real world reviews. Hopefully this helps! Thanks for watching

I didn’t realize how clean my dishes and pots and pans came out after we replaced our 20yr old DW. We noticed it immediately. Now the only thing gets me annoyed is after the dishes have gone thru the complete cycle is when you go to take them out, especially the top loaders it still catches water on the top glasses so I have towel dry them. Am I missing anything? I expected everything to be completely dry. Any suggestions? Thsnks

I’d say rinse aid, and stack the cups at an angle so the water runs off, that’s why the rack has different tilts to them

I’m finding that my door seems a little weird to open almost like I have to pull it kinda hard. How’s everyone else’s door open opening?
@Thissandthat Жыл бұрын
Mine is kinda like that too. I’d go to maybe Lowe’s or Home Depot and try opening some floor models to compare?

I just had my dishwasher installed yesterday, I’ve ran it 3 times and can’t get it to dry my dishes??? Any tips?

How does this dishwasher sound when running. You should do a recording of it running.

I did. Got to 5:46….

I have the same dishwasher- why is it loud to you??

Turns out it’s insulation blanket that goes over. The main tub was not installed by the Home builder. Bummer!

Didn’t know not doing pre rinse to your dishes helps the auto sense. Thanks .
@Thissandthat Жыл бұрын
Yes, my dishes usually come out the cleanest when I leave some grime. Depends on your water and detergent too.

How do you use the dryer booster ? My dishes were still wet after my cycle ended thanks.
@Thissandthat Жыл бұрын
You just select the dry boost option, there are two different levels, press twice for level 2. You might also try hitting the high temp button too, that can also help with drying!

@@Thissandthat thanks . One more question you mentioned to more rinsing your dishes before putting them in the dw So you just scrape your plate to get the excess food off then just out in the washer? My and I got into a disagreement about that. She say’s rinsing the dishes just like before saves on our water bill and uses less water for cleaning. Can you help me on this?
@Thissandthat Жыл бұрын
@@randalcoats7529 I scrape the dish and put it in, comes out perfectly clean on the auto cycle. I read in the troubleshooting manual -if the dishes aren’t coming out clean- leave more residue on the dishes to activate the cleaning enzymes in the detergent. It works! Your dishwasher only takes about 4 to 6 gallons per wash. Kitchen faucets use about one and a half to 2 gallons of water per minute of running. I totally understand, my partner, and I don’t argue about much, but the way we do dishes can definitely cause disagreements 😂! But hey, I’ve studied this extensively and I’m the one that does it every day so I’m right haha

@@Thissandthatthank you Another question: we bought the electric range also and twice I got slightly burned on my face because I would turn the oven to convection mode choose the temperature and cook time. Issue is when the meat was finished or I would open the oven door to check in the meat , a huge blast of heat would come out of the oven and hit me in the face burning me. Am I missing anything? The manual is very vague. Can you provide some ideas of what I’m doing wrong ? Thanks randal.
@Thissandthat Жыл бұрын
@@randalcoats7529 my parents have a GE convection oven. I too experienced similar when opening the door. I just leaned to open the oven standing to the side and letting that hot blast of air escape before I stand In front of the oven. That’s all I can tell ya!

Dude forget about the Bosch! Get a Miele if you can afford it. Otherwise, Bosch is petty much the smartest choice currently available in the market. You know, a perfect balance between quality, performance and quietness.
@Thissandthat Жыл бұрын
I agree 100%! Miele IS the best. Unfortunately I don’t have Miele dishwasher money. Although i’ve got 2 of their vacuums 😆
@JohnAK72 Жыл бұрын
@@Thissandthat Wow, words of wisdom bro! Instead, make sure you don’t get a baseline dishwasher from Bosch. Firstly, I don’t wanna see you ended up with another relatively “not super quiet dishwasher”. If my memory serves me right, Bosch entry level models are rated around 50 something decibels (what you want is roughly have a rating between 45-47 dBs ) to have that famous almost quiet experience. Secondly, avoid the plastic bottom tubs! They are coming with the basic models nowadays. Sure they do a decent job plus a good sound insulation, stay away from those models, though. It’s mainly due to the fact that uniformly molded steal tub is far less likely to cause leakage features flawlessly molded technique! And yup, Miele vacuums are indeed beautiful species to have at your home’s ecosystem :)
@Thissandthat Жыл бұрын
@@JohnAK72 I actually don’t mind the entry level Bosch units, we have one in the family and it’s definitely better and quieter than this GE in my review. Funny enough I picked up a slightly used Bosch 300 series, Full stainless 44 dba, 3rd rack. It might be a minute till I install and review but I’ll definitely make a video on my new one!

@@Thissandthat wow congrats dude! Sounds like you’ve got a good one! Stainless steel tub! 44 Decibels! What else you want??
