GE ET44AC Test Run

Watch the BNSF "GE Job" test four brand-new Canadian National ET44AC locomotives on the BNSF Fort Worth Subdivision. This unique crew consists of one conductor and two engineers along with GE technicians. These locomotives are operated in controlled conditions so that diagnostic performance data can be gathered. The engineer on the lead locomotive controls the testing locomotives while the engineer on the rear locomotive has them in dynamic braking to simulate load conditions.
My father, Michael Palmieri, was along for the chase today. This video was taken by him. The still photographs were taken by myself.
Enjoy a few glimpses of this unusual test train with four very shiny Canadian National GE locomotives! The scenes are recorded at Sanger, TX; Krum, TX; Ponder, TX; Justin, TX; and Alliance, TX.

They're slightly quieter but can still be heard. I just really love the 12 cylinder rumble it makes.

I’ve seen CSX tier 4 locomotive before but never seen a CN or NS or UP Tier 4 Locomotive but those look very nice

well sorry to say.......we have the 3171 in our shop now, wreck repair lol was in a derailment and got dinged up pretty bad, thank you or the job security

They are made at GE Manufacturing Solutions in Fort Worth when they are made they are taken for a 20-40 Mile Track Test Run
