My husband and I just found out you have to have very good water pressure for these machines to fill before the timer runs out. We had to clean the screen, which was completely clogged. We had forgotten the salesman asking if we have great water pressure and saying if not this machine isn't for you. I was so ready to try and fixed this thing with a hammer, I'm talking in a bad way😵😵😵. Hated it now love it.

on mine, I wound up changing the entire valve assembly to another brand valve.... works great!

Previous GE washer from Previous center lasted 40 years. New hydra wash has trouble from the get go. My front panel stays off permanently so it knows I'm watching for it's next trick. I actually like no front panel, I can get closer to reach the bottom better(that didn't sound right). My water level problem solved by spraying sensor hose with tire foam. Mine is not based on time (I experimented by holding a cup and dumping incoming water).

What would be a possible cause of my Maytag top load washer? It will only fill for about 5 seconds and stop. I have to open lid and close and it will start filling with water again and shut off for 5 seconds. I repeat this process until the tub is full of water

Have the same washer. Fills up very little and then starts agitating. No clue what to do. I feel like it’s probably not a hard fix, but I don’t know where to start. Any ideas? Or can you point me in the right direction? Is there a part I should replace. I’d rather replace a few parts then buy a new washer for $600+. Great video!

We have the exact same washer. My washer doesnt fill to the correct levels. When i place it on super it barely fills halfway (2/5 full) and then begins the washing cycle. Any ideas?

I know this washer never filled to the level of water I was used to. Probably trying to achieve some kind of EPA rating. If you think it's acting abnormally, you may want to look into the fill system. Maybe the pressure switch located in the control panel area or it's related parts.
