I love this machine just got mine today and as soon as it made ice my kids attacked it lol now I have to wait again for it to fill!! The noise don’t bother me at all I don’t even hear it I got 6 crazy kids that make so much noise throughout the day that I don’t hear the machine 😂

I worked at a large office building. We had 2 Scotsman nugget ice maker. People make trip for this ice. Had work on alot because of the HEAVY usage

When the ice melts does the machine automatically make the ice again I have this machine and when the ice melt it does not remake it automatically you have to pull the ice bin out then put it back in in the machine starts

Supposed to run bleach water through it the first time, then flush with fresh several times.

Its also nice to be able to go scoop scoop done instead of standing in front of the freezer for 20 seconds its like the ice at the hospital my kids love to chew it once its filled.. it makes no noise. heh

Terry - Do you have to fill the reservoir constantly if you have the side tank? Or, is it only the side tank that needs to be refilled repeatedly?

No you would fill the side tank.

Does this run continuously? I realize the ice melts and the water is recirculated, but do you leave the machine on?

We leave it on when we want to have the ice. If not on it will melt.

When u first start it to make ice does the water run threw the ice bin before it starts making ice? Ours started filling with water so we turned off.

yes i just got mine today and it does the same the back part of the ice holder has a drain like part so it’s fine

Better to have a separate stand alone ice maker, because that's the first thing to break down in the refrigerators that have them.
