GE Profile All In One, Issues Fixed? App review.

This is a quick update on the issue the GE Profile washer/dryer was having with not finishing drying. Also, I show the App, and its functionality. #geprofile #laundry

Not even 6 months our dryer sensor and spin cycle went out 😩

I got the load sensing issue last night. Makes me think theres a firmware issue going on.

Do any of you that have this machine notice your items get very wrinkled after every wash? Our pillow cases, bedding, and dish towels look like shit. Compared to our old LG's. Thanks for any idea's. Chuck.

Yes, if I don't use more dry and extended tumble settings, then yes, things are wrinkled. If I am there when the machine stops and take them out right then they also look fine.

Yes. I notice that a lot. Old system I would use to take wrinkles out and this one I can’t 😊

I don’t use fabric softener but can’t figure out how to turn of the refill notification for just the softener. Anyone know how to do that? I have smart dispense on just for the detergent, not the softener.

I do not. The key to getting perfectly washed, and dried items is to fill it to the point where everything can tumble. If you’re just washing, you can fill the drum completely and it will work. But if the items cannot move around, it will not get 100% dry. Make sure there’s enough room in there for things to tumble around each time it rotates and you don’t have to worry

We always use the more dry function. Have had our machine since March ‘24 and so far so good!

We will be getting ours on 8/9. One thing we would not do is leave the house on have the dryer going,or kick on while we are gone. After having 13 dryer fires since 2023 in our city,with my luck we would lose our condo.

Wow, that is a lot! Do you happen to know if the fires were from uncleaned dryer vents? A fireman that I know commented to me that generally, dryer fires are from the vents being plugged. Thank you for sharing!

I believe this machine would eliminate that risk. Few reasons why but do your own diligence
