Why would there EVER be occasion to replace this part? It’s not mechanical, it doesn’t contact any other part as part of its operation, it doesn’t rust or is subject to corrosion or breakage? Only if a repair tech broke it would you need to replace it… That said, thanks for the disassembly procedure and the peek inside this refer…

What would be the reason to replace “just” the fan blade?

I had to replace mine due to over time the fan hole that goes onto the motor shaft opens up and made it to where the fan wouldn’t spin while attached to the motor. Maybe sometimes the spring can also wear down and rust over time and come off. Amazon was my best bet when I ordered mine.

Is this not the condensor motor

No. The condenser motor is next to the compressor at the bottom of the refrigerator.
