Video is nice, but it would have been helpful to show where on the curtain frame the weather stripping is to be installed. The drawing in the manual is a bit unclear.

Well I know all windows are different. Vinyl clad windows. I don't have a thick enough lip to install the bottom slide screw nor do I have anything to bolt the side bracket to. The window is up too high. Works fine though. Reminds me of my ex-wife, frigid.

Did the same thing, bottom screws don’t fit into anything.

My old window (95 years old) is the inverse of this window causing it to tilt in significantly. Not sure if I should install a couple 2x4 to increase height or shell out $80 for a mounting kit

need suggestions for installing in old double hung wood windows (110 yrs). Window does not fit in top bracket. Too wide and angle prevents it fitting in the slot.

why can't you make a window ac like the through the wall ac with no vents on top or sides need window ac that don't have vents on top or sides so we can use are screen when installing through window we can't use are screens because we can't block the vents pulling the screen down to the top of ac then we can block the sides at with insulation or a panel like the front curtain to keep bugs out of are windows

What prevents the bottom of the ac from pushing out towards the outside and the ac falling out while you are putting the screws in?

I told my 3 and 4 year old girls to stand outside to up hold it up. Wife was busy doing laundry or something. Thankfully my neighbor Billy came over becuase I was getting hungry- Anyway, he called his wife and she brought us a couple of sandwiches and beers. When we finished I pulled the window down so the lip of the top rail would rest against it. Some of the guys and I played poker in a very cool room that night. Funny thing is the girls were still out there holding it up. Poor girls, they really need to workout more.

I have this air conditioner just purchased ad got installed but when I look through the vents I see a big foam type of backing which I think is causing it not to cool my room is that normal or is that foam piece supposed to be removed

Personally I don’t understand the mask but I understand the gloves. I just cut myself twice on my hands by accident with handling this air conditioner

this is normal PPE when doing any type of construction or DYI projects, it's just for safety , you don't wanna cut yourself and the mask protects against dust and particles etc. everything isn't about the 2020 situation
