Ich empfinde ebenso❤😊 Nach 50 Jahren mit Hunden, hatte ich mich von diesem aus Altersgründen zu verabschieden Gerne hätte ich einen alten Hund bei mir aufgenommen, doch dies bedeutet auch, daß u. U. hohe Tierarztkosten anfallen, die für mich nicht tragbar wären. Also eben solo weiter, entschied ich mich. Es war und ist anstrengend, doch da stolperte ich, Gott sei Dank, auf diese Seite.😊 Pferde waren die große Liebe meiner Jugend, doch mein Lebensweg, entwickelte sich in eine andere Richtung. Erfreut stellte ich nun über diese Seite fest, meine Liebe zu ihnen, ist geblieben, und sie ist mir heute sehr, sehr hilfreich.😊

Oh how funny. They are just like curious kids, but much bigger. My favorite, Jacobien, has really grown up. She looks kind of tall and slender compared to her mates. Thank you so much. If I could I would bring Jacobien to Florida. They are so social I would have to get two🤣🤣🤣. 🦋

I don't think I will ever be able to tell one horse from another on KZbin. I am not a detail oriented person...that is alright, I enjoy watching them & all horses on YT. Your horses are truly beautiful horses & I enjoy them very much with out knowing their names. You go over them & their names a lot & I don't need to know your horses by name. If I were with them every day (as you are), I would learn their different looks & ways. Maybe some viewers do feel it necessary to know them by name. What I have said here is just my opinion for me, not everyone. hugs, Judie

I can recognize some of the yearlings now! Klaske is the smallest and has the most delicate head (and she's my favorite!), Lianne has the shortest forelock, and Jildou has the thickest mane that falls on both sides of her neck. Jacobien has a delicate head as well but is bigger than Klaske. I still have a hard time telling Lina and Lieke apart, though I think Lieke has the little cowlicks/tufts on her cheeks to help her stand out. But now I have to learn how to identify the two-year-olds!!

What happened to Friesian Horses Buddy? Was that Rinske? Yvonne, sometimes, still has trouble telling Ginny and Hester apart. Glad I'm not the only one. lol Oh the always gorgeous Gea. She is a stunner, with the luxurious head, as Yvonne always says. Love the pic of her in the clouds. 10 beautiful fillies..1 sadly had to be sold, 2 still to go to inspection later this summer, 1 Kroon and 6 Ster. How common of an outcome was this at Stal G. They are all so beautiful

The ribbon braiding in the mane is a great idea, as others have suggested....you could do combo's of colors if needed. In fact, why don't you invite us all there for a braiding party!!! I'd be there if I could.

Maybe to identify the horses you could use different braids or a different number of braids on each horse. Like two top mane braids for Hester, one bottom mane braid for Gea, two forehead braids for another, etc.

Maybe you can go over how each horse acts as an individual, who they tend to hang out with, their rank in the herd. Going over their different conformation and things like height and build can help too.

Such a beautiful (windy) day when you filmed this, all the children look beautiful with manes flying in the breeze & coats shining in the sun especially Lianne & Miss Lina, the 2 besties who are always together simply breathtaking!🥰😊 That would make a great picture to have as a large portrait on the wall, all of them together if u could keep their attention long enough to get a snapshot lol. And I’ve learned the 2 girls I can recognize quickly (usually) when everyone is together, are Lianne & Lina again because they’re never too far away from each other, they are very close & have a special bond♥️; also Lianne is always the first to come over & seek you our for attention when she sees its you, that usually means Lina quickly follows after her friend because she has learned that Yvonne is a very nice lady who has a special bond with Lianne & Lina won’t be left out. Whatever her BFF does she must do as well😍🐴

A washable chalk dot on their hind quarters. Different colors for them. 😊

You can braid their manes in order to their parents. Example: If one of these have a two-braid, it means is that foal is a son/daughter of Reintje for exemple.

It is easy to tell the yearlings form the two year olds by looking at their chests and build. They are narrower and not as muscular. After that, I know Leanne and Lina by their friendliness. (I am very sure I spelled their names incorrectly!) After that, I have no answers.

Jildou has a thick, dark medium length mane that falls on both sides of her neck, but if you braided a ribbon into the braids, then they wouldn't fall out. Say one braid red ribbon on left side is Jildou, Klaske has two braids and two red ribbons, Gea has one left braid with blue ribbon and Ginny has two braids with yellow ribbons. There can be a system using how the mane falls and how many braids close or far to the ears ? Maybe older horses can have four braids or six braids but one, two or three ribbons close to ears or far from ears?

Could you braid strands of their manes together in different patterns and areas? You would still need a list but once we learned the list we would know who is who! Or maybe little dots of non-toxic paint that would wear off on their necks or hooves? I love this video, with the wind making it seem like the viewer is right there with you and the horses! Lovely!

To identify - paint each horse’s hooves a different colour? Or as someone else said, securely braid a different colour ribbon into each mane, making sure it won’t fall out.

I can't believe I was able to identify Ginny. Looking at her I thought to myself that she must be a daughter of Saly because of her hind quarters. Then I thought well if she were born the same year as Geertje, then she must be Ginny, and to my amazement, I was correct!

How about a pet & environment friendly coloring to put in a tiny bit of mane! Like just a stripe in the top or lower part of the mane . A temporary coloring of course! 1 horse have the color in the top of the mane & another in the lower part of the mane. Just an idea.... lol.
