Ah, Lianne really was a very special foal at such a young age. She was curious about people right away, and seemed to trust Yvonne instinctually. That's in a way why I love Saly so much, I feel she is a very kind & gentle mare who produces the same in her offspring.❤️🎀

Such extraordinarily magnificent animals. The beauty, elegance and high stepping gait is just who they were created to be! I could never tire of watching them! It was exciting watching them all gallop around and change directions at the same time much like the birds in the sky and schools of fish in the sea! They have an instinctive timing mechanism built into their DNA which creates this behavior and it is truly "safety in numbers!" God is the creator of all things and all of this group behavior was by design. To us who "follow the herd", it is all poetry in motion. A leader will emerge when the time is right and after the role is challenged a bit. It will be exciting to see who wants and earns that place in the herd. Boró Sütő Yes! For me after Queen Uniek Saly is my favorite. She’s incredibly sweet & very loving to both people & her babies & that is why Lianne & no doubt little Marije, are so affectionate to the people who care for them; like mom like daughters , Lianne is something special & she & Yvonne have a very sweet bond, Lianne picked her as her favorite person.♥️ Lianne has my heart as well she’s my #1 yearling quickly followed by Lina, her bestie.🥰 I’ve said that Yvonne, Lianne & Lina are the 3 Musketeers because Lianne is always the 1st to come to Yvonne when she sees her & whatever her bestie does, Lina must do as well.💕🐴

If I had Friesians I would not leave them out either unless I had Superman to watch them. A normal Yearling doing nothin costs depending on their blood line even if he never sired one foal. I mean literally just standing there! They cost more than Arabians...many people have no idea because the breed was not out there lately and mostly known as a work-horse and almost extinct. It still is not on "blocks "on the horse market but a well-kept secret. There is no horse that can come close to the beautiful bone-structure of the Friesian , its elegance and eloquence. All horses learn to canter or gallop on command, but when a Friesian high-steps with bowed neck and head downwards while long tail and mane are flying, it turns into a ballet! It literally leaves those watching speechless. Oh...did I mention they are for the most part mellow, easy going and love people? Yes...the perfect horse!

We can not have to much horses. They all have to fit in she stalls during winter time. Mostly there are around 8 mares who are expecting a foal. This year just 4. 😄❤️

The halters were the give away today Mathilde white, Myrthe brown/black and Marije none 😁 Yvonne said the halters will come off, so there goes that 😂 and they need a lot of different colours when all foals are born, so I will go the entire year again only being able to pick out a couple of foals 😉

little one goosed her mom lol. i have not seen enough of effje to see how truly stunning she is. she has a very straight back from withers to rump so does fredia though her back looks a little shorter. i really like the shorter back on the Friesans, just my own personal taste. i really enjoy comparing the body differences when the horses are still enough for me to really look at them. i need to get my good conformation eye back. lol

I was wondering if horses enjoy play with soap bubbles. There are bubbles safe for dogs (who will chase and eat them) so I'd guess they'd be safe for horses. I've seen horses including yours that enjoy playing with balls and the water coming out of hoses. Love your beautiful Friesians and the scenery there.
