Gear 360 wont turn on? How to fix it!

I just got mine working. Your way didn’t do it for me. However it led me in the right direction. I whacked it 3 times held the record button for a minute and nothing. Whacked it a few more times and held down all three buttons for around 45 seconds ( I stopped when it lit up like a Christmas tree). Good luck everyone!

September 2023. I did not use this camera for last 3 years!!! With cable connected, one soft bang on a table and charging light comes ON!!! no need to press any buttons. Worked for me, thx.

Bless you, young sir. We are headed tonight for the Philippines and I really wanted to use the 360 there. It would not turn on for us. Three smacks on the table, I held down the key, and now it works fine.

Thanks, but it worked a little differently for me. I didn't knock anything, but I held the power button while it was plugged in for 15 to 20 seconds and the power light came on and it started charging. But thank you for giving me the idea. Also this is the only video I watched, thank you again.

Another video with help on this... kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnzboGBontFqaLc Also, try smacking it down firmly on a desk - YES NOT JOKING - this has worked for many. Start off light and obviously not smash it with force to break it but, a kinda hard slam down on to the base of the camera can jolt it inside as sometimes the connector can move and prevent charging. Honestly I would do this a last resort if NOTHING else is working and start off with some light taps and common sense.

all you have to do is plug in the box to the outlet connect the cord to the gear 360 and plug in the USB cable to the box. unplug the USB and plug back in till the light turns on

That doesnt always work I have tried that method. I think their was a defect (maybe somthing not in place) with a good amount of these gear 360s.
