@@xErKaZ0rox After looking through it again, I think it's actually pretty neat. Gear 5 being a form that shreds through defenses with a 6x multiplier is actually busted. You negate a big chunk of the game with just this one unit which is always fun.

I think you're underestimating how good that revival is. Its not just a safety net but a way to remove all debuffs on your crew, even the ones you can't remove (or at least thats how i remember it) . Couple that with him bypassing defensive effects and you dont have to bring along alot of utility characters, instead just focus on how to deal a shit ton of damage. I think this plays well in the "freedom" theme

this unit is expected to be more than what was given for some, but I think he is more than enough. i see the drawbacks as challenges tbh but I understand the nitpickings. i like his kit. I like how we still need to challenge ourselves teambuilding around him. any more broken than that and we are at risk of having content where older units are rendered useless because they adjusted it to luffy's numbers. thanks for the video!

hearing the wording of the rush special i can see it being a pretty strong option for kizuna super bosses no? hit with your first 5 units and luffy last, then enter rush special until your hp are reduced to the amount that cancles the rush should deal a pretty heavy amount of dmg

It's a fine unit but not as much as I expected. If not Rainbow damage I'd hope for a Color change like bon clay. G5 can do whatever he wants so a color change on demand would have been a nice touch. Besides the revive thing, Flavor is disappointing.

Pretty sure they gonna release Kaido's final dragon form after G5 and most likely it will INT (driven / powerhouse) and he will have super EX. They just gotta make a Kaido unit to counter G5 Luffy

Just like people said G5 luffy was to be released in february for the anniversary, I am gonna hit you with the hard truth, the form you're talking about is at least 8 chapters away, so even if It's less of a stretch, you won't see him in game before it's anime arrival, being in 2 months at least

The reason why fixed dmg doesnt do the whole dmg sometimes is bcus of ”resistance ” which some pvp characters already have or legends but most legends need to be upgraded lvl limit break Lv 5. Its not guard. For an example Calgary & Nolan’s resistance just completely evades action bind, but at max lvl 150 he evades AND reduces INT dmg by 35%. Most resistance dmg reducer is at 30% to 40%. 40% being really good but a little rare still. OG INT doffy reduce nothing until lvl limit break 5, then he reduces PSY dmg by 40% !

I mean i know he's busted but i'm kinda disapointed as well tho... I thought we might have a entire new mechanic like the Enma gage or smth. The EX Special is cool but its the exact same as super class or super tap its just both. I would have liked to see something like rainbow damage and/or rainbow captain, i really dont like the PSY Free Spirit boosting, it should cover every character without differences. Like come on it's Luffy's final power up, dude just beating a Yonko and we don't really have something that signifies it imo. Someone pointed out in the comment that he should never be despaired is actually great, they could have made this unit so much more like Luffy... I'll still summon but i don't think i'll put extra money into it rn

Gear 5 isn’t giving the freedom captain ability a lot of people were hoping for. He should’ve been able to resist any and every negative debuff, but hey it’s Bandai. They’re going to milk this version of Luffy to the ground. Don’t be surprised if there’s a gear 5 Vs fire dragon Kaido lol
