I love that the events of egghead island were off screened while we were focused on other events! It helps sell the passage of time and as usual makes the world feel alive and lived in. It keeps moving with or without the straw hats. Oda is really good at selling the passage of time.

Yeah I definitely feel Oda has gotten better at it recently. Prior to the time skip, it felt like the world was frozen if the Straw Hats weren’t involved. Wano definitely displayed the world building phenomenally and Egghead just went even further with it.

I believe it has to do with the time table of the series. Oda keeps saying its nearing the end, yet he has a ton of plot points to tie up/finish. Theres no way Oda would be done soon if he was pacing the way he's formally been known for. And I'll bet all the off screen story beats will be fleshed out in the anime. That way he will still get to go into detail about what happens off panel, while also giving the manga a chance to stay ahead.

I said when we first knew kizaru was going to egg head. It's been cooking the WG has not had a single real L in one piece. No key figures killed no huge battles lost. It's time. I was annoyed that luffy was named a yanko but given the same bounty as kid and law. I got a feeling we won't have to wait long to see that number raise up to match the older yanko. Also I hope it's zoro that fights kizaru. He was the one kizaru did most dirty on saboady. I'm sure that we'll get 3-4 chapters of how the Straw Hat crew are together, Seraphims are calm down again, plus Usopp, Franky, and Lilith were unpetrified. I could see Atlas punched York or Robin using ger Devil Fruit powers to stop York. I love watching York get her karma and suffering. While everyone, including Straw Hats, allies, Marines, Kizaru, and Saturn, are having meals, York's crying like shit. This kinda reminds me of how Caesar got kidnapped, except he's a dirty scumbag while York is Vegapunk's greed satellite. Lucci could've just killed York and replaced her with an improved version... Hattori is back. At least the Pigeon isn't forgotten.

If this is the inverse of Sabaody, and Kizaru is showing up again misusing the black transponder snail; then I think this chapter is showing us a glimpse of things to come. In Sabaody Kizaru was talking into the snail when he shouldn't have been, I believe after this chapter the inverse of that is him listening to it when he shouldn't be. He just tapped a conversation with the Gorosei and I don't think they were aware he was on the line listening in. While nothing too incriminating for him to listen to was presented in this conversation we have been shown the Gorosei will wipe out anyone with knowledge they shouldn't have. I believe Kizaru is going to listen in on a conversation that reveals Imu or some void century knowledge thus compromising himself and being put on the kill list. Maybe he is forced to switch sides because of this helping Sentomaru and Vegapunk. In his own words in this chapter he says he is a cog in the machine that it's out of his hands, but if he is removed from the machine what would his actions and intentions be? Edit: Another big inverse is instead of Camie being kidnapped they are now holding York hostage This isn't my idea, from the comments on TCB scans.

Something you forgot to mention is that Saturn for some reason decided to spare Bonney, because she is just a Little Girl. Could be hints. We know the Gorosei didn't spare Robin, because of her knowledge. But why Bonney is ok to be spared? Maybe she is indeed just a child, using her ability to become older. After all the first time we see her, is when she's drowning. Meaning its possible her ability was deactivated. Showing us her true age. Which at the same time showcases what major growth she is going to have and actually how strong she is. A little kid, is already a Supernova and is already insanely proficient at using her devil fruit, and after hanging out with Luffy her bounty will get increased exponentially. In fact the theories that she's a clone of Big Mom would make a lot of sense. Big Mom also started her Pirate Career when she was just a child.

Ok, maybe I missed something in an earlier chapter, but I am completely surprised that Lucci is just chilling and not doing everything in his power to capture Luffy. Especially after how Lucci's dark justice works. I can almost imagine a future chapter where Luffy, Rob Lucci, and Katakuri are fighting side by side. To me, Katakuri is Luffy's current pirate rival, while Rob Lucci is Luffy's current government rival, as their battles seem to show that they are equal in fighting skill and power. It may be wishful thinking, but here's hoping.

Honestly, the gear 5 was in the poster at one time that’s why Bonnie asked why it was white. I feel as if that it is a cover up because this is huge for the government obviously. Lucci and luffy and the whole gang is going to fight. It is almost sabaody park again. They have the option the whole crew is here and luffy said the next time it wouldn’t be like that and he wouldn’t be like that again. Last time he was already on the island and got worked. Kai do situation he went and met up with everyone. Now he is on an island once more where they are coming towards him and he has the choice to stay or run and I believe it is going to be a all out. We have been taught that literally where Lulusia was, nothing has remained, as if it had gone back in time many years to a time when there was no water in that particular area even also they have mentioned in the chapter about Kizaru and how Vegapunk studied and replicated his devil fruit again and also the name "Mother Flame" would be related to Jewelry Bonnet Devil fruit because she can transform people into kids... the only thing that i dont understand is that they have said that they no longer need Bonney but... if they have already studied her devil fruit powers maybe they do not need to study that again?

Part of me really does fear for the world right now, the sea levels are rising and that's not good, the world government probably are dooming their world now. I'm certain they've given Kizaru some strong haki stuff by now, because if it is like Z said to him before everything went BOOM was "You rely too much on your devil fruit" WHICH MEANS, Kizaru either has a SUPER strong devil fruit or just hasn't meet his match since his own haki is just weak. If it's the later then even Zoro can one on one him at this point, Luffy would literally Argentinian backbreak that man. Seems like Haki at the end of the day is the only thing that can overwhelm any devil fruit users AND bypass them in power, Shanks is an example. The most terrifying ones are those who mastered Haki AND awakened their DF.
