Perfect, great introduction, thanks. We have it and love the portability and the power it offer. The only inconvenient is then we use Pentax camera, we use it in manual with a simple trigger because there isn't a newer trigger for use the Q4 in TTL with Pentax camera. 😞

After a long delay in shipping and getting blocked on social media by NEEWER i have received my Q4. I am happy with the Q4, it works well with the QPRO, Z1 and the Q3 that I already have.

I’m pretty sure I’m next to get blocked on Facebook. They took 2 months to ship and forgot to include my Sony trigger. SMH I’m convinced they just buy the products from China and run like a mom and pop shop out of New Jersey.

Pushing the power button then rotating the dial...I saw that after the unit powered up the power setting was getting adjusted afterwards. That could get tricky if you're turning the light on expecting the same settings as when you powered it down.

I have this light (two of them) and I have the trigger as well. I’m loving them so far but I’m struggling on how to get the trigger and light groups to work together to where I can select the groups I setup on my trigger and it sync to the light once it is selected on the trigger.

It's actually a Godox AD400Pro in a redesigned housing. Looks like the bulb and charger are compatible with the AD400 plus the remote should also trigger Godox, Flashpoint, and other Godox clones and vice-versa be fired by Godox triggers.

I enjoyed the product overview and I came away with a good sense of the Q4's capabilities. In a perfect world it would have been nice to see the actual screen and stepping through setting different power settings, HSS, TTL, etc. I have several Canon 600EX-RTii flashes that are brilliant for acting as Masters and Slaves. Can I use one of those as a Master to control the Q4 as a slave? Thank you

Thanks for your trust, unfortunately, the QPRO-C trigger controls Speedlite flashes with a built-in NEEWER Q system, non-system flashes can be controlled with a QR receiver, but are unable to change the parameters.@@SenorGancho

Good morning, I've recently bought q4 flash from amazon with sony and nikon qpro trigger. I've just realized that TTL parameters do not sync / changes within flash itself sending from remote. Manual it takes but ttl does not. Do you know by chance if any particular issue or parameter I'm missing? If I set values directly on the flash it remains like that does not matter what I have in the remote.

what I'm trying to say is that.... in the back of the unit if does not show the compensation dial in the remote I dial ie -1 compesation. back of the unit remains in 0.0 or what ever value I set directly on the unit

Please kindly note that this is not a product issue; rather, this design refers to the original factory practice used by Nikon, Canon, and Sony, which is that when you adjust exposure compensation +/-3EV in TTL mode on the QPro trigger, the parameters are already synchronously operated on the receiving flash, only are not displayed on it. Setting compensation on both the flash and QPro at the same time creates a superimposed effect.

The strobe simply plugs in the front. The modeling lamp is built in under the strobe and not plug and play. Seems well built, received mine and am very happy so far.

I have a Panasonic GH5… I have checked that there’s no trigger for Olympus/Panasonic… I’m researching if the Q4 will work at least in “Manual” with a Sony QPro-S trigger? And HSS? Thanks

I tried this with my soft box, and for some reason it doesn’t not spread out light. Just fire and lit half of my subject straight down the middle.

You did not answer the question posed, but advertised your products! This is bad . Many photographers have a Godox system and won't switch to yours if the Godox Synchronizer doesn't work on your system. You are losing.@@NeewerOfficial

I got mine it doesnt work properly, it doesnt trigger about 10-15% of shots each session on manual, not sure if im to close to strobe but there is a disconnect between the trigger and unit. I asked Neewer customer service they never got back to me, too heavy, build quality is good but not sure how reliable is. I have 3 speedlight Yongnue for over 6 years very happy they sync 100% all the time. Better spend some more money somewhere else to a better brand like Godox or Westcott
