If you like to crotchet, make reusable water balloons. Yes it takes awhile but they’ll be good for many summers to come and you won’t be tying water balloons together anymore. All you need to do is crochet balls and if you want to you can put sponges into the balls. Then have a tub or bowl of water, and fill it with cold water. Your kids can re-soak (or you can call it reload so the children have some more fun) the water balls and throw them at each other again and again. Then you can easily clean them off

As a kid I had a ratchet dollar store Care Bear hop scotch toy that sprayed water and my brother had a normal slip and slide that was basically a tarp on the ground. It hurt when you slide on your stomach across it. 😂😂 What happened to the good ole days were you spent all day tying water balloons or just playing with a water hose? Kids now a days are so lucky. We would have been in hog heaven with all of these things. This is why as an adult I always get down and play with all the kids. They have fun toys.

A cool idea is to get rocks and pebbles and paint them. You can buy waterproof pens for this easily of amazon or you can us sharpies or paint and seal them with waterproof spray. Or just keep them out of rain or water. My auntie does this with me and my two sisters (14,14 and 11) but it is good for younger kids too. Can also be used for an Easter egg hunt and is relatively mess free.
