Awesome. I just hit lvl 60 on my crusader so I'm starting to grind for that end gear stuff. Can't wait to watch. Also you should make a video about what character / plans you might have for when season hits console.

I plan on doing a video as soon as the season releases but my plan at the moment is a repeat of the spray n pray build and a heavy flamer build as well.

Thanks so much. Me and my friend have only started playing a while ago but we've been having a blast and we're now within grasping distance of level sixty, so this guide helps a lot. Console seems to have less features than PC (still can't work out if I can increase random mission levels or switch to Challenge mode) but we both appreciate you hard work in videos like this that keep us off the path of heresy. ;)

You can switch to challenge mode at any time by pressing the track pad i believe...if you are on PS4 of course

@@S2uBuGaming Thanks for the quick reply. You are correct about the track pad, but only for campaign missions and assignments. Any other missions give me the Uther's Tarot option. Are random planets/systems simply level-locked?

They are but if you press L2 and then R1 you go into the random mission tab. This has missions around your level but these do cap out at level 70

Cabals are funny in this game. They give hidden buffs from the tech tree but nothing else really. Easy grouping up I suppose is the main one.

Nice! Up untill lvl 60 the most important weapon/armor/gear stat would be? And what armor is that? I am playing psyker, but that armor makes me wanna play crusader :D

The most important gear stat and weapon are very much gear dependant. The armour I use the most is the archeotech relic sentinel armour. It looks amazing

This helps a lot. I've recently started playing again after launch and there's so much more to understand. On the various types of relics around, does the tier of relic affect the range or base stats of the item/enchant? So would an Archeotech relic weapon (for example) have a better base damage range OR other enchants having a better range than a normal relic? If not, it seems a bit silly as you can "make" the relic you want from standard relics if you have the resources. On Ancient Relics, as i'm on PC I get to see the new versions and i like them simply because they look to be set stats. Think of them as "families" - so the family "of Stride" is heavily crit based for example. Each item type of the same family will have the same enchants (slightly different number depending of item level brackets it seems). For example all Eye Implants of Stride will have the same enchants. Interestingly, the "of stride" family appears to have the same theme throughout the different item slots you have - as mentioned "of Stride" is heavily crit based. This is great as you can search of items from the same family if you're going for a heavy crit build in this case - OR status effects that trigger on crit hits. The "of Trauma" family is based up bleeds and criticals so on. The biggest downside on Ancient Relics, as you mentioned, was to do with lack of customisation of them - sure you can socket them, but that's it. One thing I have seen though is there may be 2 different types of Ancient Relics. I've only found 1 so far, but that item has a slightly different background to other ancient relics - it appears to have red lightning lines behind the item. This item is still called an Ancient Relic but i'm not sure of the significance.

The red lightning is for purity seals and has always been that way. No idea why it is the only one with red lightning. As for relic tiers. From all of the checks I have done so far there does not seem to be any start increase for different relic tiers, especially not between standard and Archeotech

I have items with sockets pre lvl 50, i can send pics for proof. However i dont socket anything as i feel it is a expensive end game mechanic best saved for 85 up

They dropped the level require.ent for sockets to 35 in a patch not too long ago

@@kyledreger4254 I think it is so more people can mess around with doctrines. You can remove the codes after all so provided you don't add sockets but find one with 3 plus sockets you can have doctrines early on to help out

Good stuff, ancient artifacts so far have been a waste for me even on PC but at least now I know I can look up the unlock is by the name. I have gotten one morality of the bonus was just very bad being to situational. Also thanks for the shard info that does helps out and I have wasted a lot of resources and money on re-rolls and slotting.

It is always tempting to spend a lot of resources on lower level gear. My worst thing for that is appearance! I never use ancient relics unless I literally have nothing else to use. On console at the moment they really are not worth the time and effort. Looking forward to seeing what they look like in the season though

As many times as you can afford. I gave never found a time where I cannot add more durability. Only limit was my funds as it becomes more expensive each time I believe

Each tier of armour has a different look and each armour also looks very different so there is more than enough customisation and character appearance change. You can also colour your armour and weapons

Hello there! The friendly neighborly Heavy Ranged Crusader salutes you! I play on PC and the Ancient Relics are not modifiable, they are greyed out... Maybe they don't want to commit a tech heresy? Anyway! Can you repost a viable heavy bolter or grav gun build? They changed how the "triple shot" works, basically now you shoot 3 bullets with the same damage but you have a -30% crit chance and basically ruined some builds

As soon as the season starts on console I will definitely post an updated build it is difficult to know how it will react without actually having the patch. To my mind the build could still work with minor modifications. Take more enchant slots with crit chance included to negate the -30% chance. My spray n pray buuld crit chance was relatively low but it still managed to get into those high tiers so with the increase in damage output, on paper it should still be viable

@@S2uBuGaming I managed to use a similar build but with a normal Bolter using the 4th skill, the one that make all of those nice BOOOOMS... The enemies are always on the floor knocked down, but the crit chance dampening is a big deal... This malus is applied per shot and not on the character so you really need to max the crit chance to see some nice numbers. Next we want to see some love also for the other 3 classes! *wink wink*
