It's only important for one achievement in the season of inferno which requires you to complete one in less than 60 minutes

what hapens if you die early ? do you lose all loot you collected as well?

You have 5 lives to start, if you lose all lives than the void crusades ends. If you're asking what happens if you die mid mission, you keep all the loot you already picked up, just any mission connected to that failed one will no longer be reachable

An hour to complete? I just spent about 6 hours doing a void map just for it to screw me at the end by making it so difficult that I could barely hurt the mobs and they one-shot me. All that for nothing 😭
