They are called a whisk and pick musket tools. Also a good tool to have is a tri-tool which looks like a three point Star with a thick flat head screw top, a thin flat head screw top and a pick used to tighten your dog screw on the musket flintlock

@americanrevolutionreenacto23575 жыл бұрын
Animal Bros Definitely watch some videos or buy CDs of fife and drum music and do some research on drummers of the American Revolution. And there is a book full of all the drum commands and songs, called Military Music of the American Revolution and even if you can’t read music, like me just listen to the sound of the drums and try to play it.

Thanks for letting me know. I have also been looking at the civil war so I might do that too.

History nerd here, the hats are tricorns and not bicorns, a tricorn is a triangular shape and a bicorn is what napoleon wore on his head
@americanrevolutionreenacto23574 жыл бұрын
PirateGamer A “tricorne” is a late 19th century term to refer to theses hats but as I said in the video the proper 18th century term is a “cocked hat” because the fashion was to cock it to the side.
@Bountyhopper3 жыл бұрын
@@americanrevolutionreenacto2357 well. Having your hat cocked to the side wasn’t a fashion thing, it was more practical for the military because of the shape, the side brims would get in the way of the musket while at the shoulder position. So men would wear it off center with the beak to the right and tilted down to give the Musket room to comfortably sit. If you were a civilian or officer, you would wear it straight.
