This is one pretty nice sounding remix, and personally I think it sounds better than the real song. I definitely think that the choice for keeping the song similar to Mega Man 2 and 9 was justified, given that there could be arrangements of the same song throughout the fortress, like how RushJet1 did with the Wily tracks in his covers.
