A quite bike ? That’s the worse idea ever . People already don’t see you and now they don’t hear you. I run my bike with no pipes as a safety feature. Do I make a shit load of noise ? Yes but they hear me and look for what is making all that noise .

naz salabarria lololololololz you put yourself in stupid positions where the other person can kill you with their equally stupid, unthinking actions and it won’t matter if they can hear you or see you. Riding defensively means don’t put yourself in those situations ... use your power and speed to get out of the danger zone.

False argument. Proper riders know that. When you're in a car, you NEVER hear a motorcycle coming at you, only at the last moment when it passes you, and it's too late. Sometimes so sudden and loud that it makes you jump and can be dangerous. It's about time motorcycles stop making so much unnecessary noise that annoys everybody else and only flatters the rider's ego or compensate his inferiority complex. And boasting to be riding without pipes and make "shit load of noise" makes you a selfish fool and a nuisance.
