May I give you the suggestion filming at 30 or 60fps, as opposed to 25fps? Pannings of the camera will not result in image judder anymore and look much smoother. 24, 25, and 50fps do not harmonize with our 60 or 120 Hertz computer or TV panels.

Daniel ... great feedback. I upgraded my cameras for better quality. 30 for the future!

Enjoy the hike. Just one comment. That composting bag for trash... you may want to upgrade to a 1 gal ziplock. After a 5 or 6 days that trash is gonna stink up your bear canister. Having a functional ziplock will be a useful upgrade to consider.

I'm using similar equipment. I also find that carrying only a second set of T-shirt, undertrousers and socks is the best compromise. However, I do not use a separate action cam for hiking videos any longer. Image stabilization of recent mobile phones has become very good indeed. Only for videos from my bicycle, where it vibrates and shakes like crazy, I am still using my GoPro Hero 9. There weight does not matter so much compared to hiking in addition.

Yeah, I'm still on the fence but the GoPro/DJI Action does a great job so I'm torn.
