Ok, several awesome things to note here: 1) your use of the word “dressing” on the Superego...rich bro, rich 2) no Timeline? Do you even PLAY in church? 3) no Bigsky?? Are you even a Christian? 4) TWO BOSS PEDALS??!! What is this, the 90’s? 5) A Full Drive 2?? Of course it’s still the 90’s! 6) that may be the biggest POG pedal I’ve ever seen. 7) it’s good to hear you finally speak 8) awesome board bro! Keep it up!

I also found the lack of JHS and Walrus Audio content disturbing. This guy needs at least 6 more overdrives.

Can you post a video on your practical application of looping? I’m super interested to see how you apply that! 😀

4 delay pedals, 2 used primarily as loopers. I love it.

Quick question! What effects do you use on guitar for “we rejoice”? Specifically in the verses and choruses, I can hear some octave stuff and a whammy pedal I believe but I can’t figure out what shimmery reverb you got on there

Kevin Smith, let’s build a pro rig together man!

It's interesting that you run the Boss reverb into the fulldrive2 pedal. Thank you for the rig rundown. I love your tones.

Just saying lol his wet effects are stereo but then he goes mono into his amp and stereo out of it. Wow so many things wrong here
@armandoalvarez19533 жыл бұрын
Goodwood underfacer sums up signal, so its coming in stereo. U should check out their stuff, they make junction boxes.

@ethanschlegel99124 жыл бұрын
You should get a helix floor next
@renoutlaw83714 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure the HELIX has the dsp to have all the ambient settings he has without switching presets. Its certainly good for standard usage, I love mine, but unless you sacrifice heavily in the area of drives, pitch and modulation, you will find yourself struggling to have all these verbs and delays without some serious wizardry using the parameter controls
@ethanschlegel99124 жыл бұрын
Ren Outlaw I think the helix has enough dsp to get this done.
@renoutlaw83714 жыл бұрын
@@ethanschlegel9912 It depends what your amp/cab situation, if you use stereo amps and 2 IR's I dont see it

Thanks for posting the video, it was cool to see what Kevin’s been using lately! I was wondering, I see Elevation worship guitarists use jazzmasters a lot, but how on earth do you deal with the humming noise in a live setting? I love my jazzmaster to death, but at church the bridge and neck pickups are completely unusable because of the noise.
@kevinneilsmith68744 жыл бұрын
I got mine shielded with copper. Still noisy but not as bad. After that I just make the noise a part of the sound! That and just a quick flip to the middle for quiet parts are just turn my body until there’s no hum.
@wmaxwell224 жыл бұрын
Kevin Neil Smith thanks for the input, that makes sense! I might have to try using mine for service again sometime soon...
