@ chetan Pressure plate problem. First change clutch assembly and then change slave cylinder. If u want to check practically. Just remove slave cylinder and then try to move back and forth of clutch fork by hand. If fork is unable to move or hard then its confirmed that clutch assembly need to be replaced. If not check for oil leakage of clutch pipe and check oil level.

I had similar problem with my Hyundia i20 year 2009model made in India and many times I had to stop driving as my clutch pedal drops to the floor and after a few seconds it comes to normal I could drive again. After I tried all the options by changing the master cylinder and the slave cylinder and the clutch full kit I spoke to a different mechanic and told me that the problem was due to the rod that moves the trust bearing as it was sticking and it don't return back as it sticks while it start to return to it normal position.I used the spray penetrating oil and did work better .I started to use my car more often as I use to leave it in my garage for a long time and used my other car.Now it is working better. You can try another way I would suggest to add a return spring to the arm of the fork rod as a return spring as a modification.This is my idea to try for next time if i still have again the same problem.

Got both cylinder replaced for 4500. Used after market parts. Original parts were not available due to Covid . Make sure the length of pin in slave cylinder is exact. Mine was 5mm smaller and will be getting it replaced with original Hyundai part soon

80% of this problem is happen due to clucth sleep cylinder , some cases master cylinder too. I want suggest you that replace clucth sleep cylinder then your problem will solve.

Mechanic k kehne pe Gear oil,brake oil,clutch set,pressure plate,crank sensor sb change kra diya but koi fark nhi pda..can u tell me..what should i do.

How to differentiate this problem with pressure plate problem?

If your car have pressure plate problem then cluth system always remain hard.... If clucth cylinder problem then clucth will be hard only hot conditions or after run some km.

Bro my car is 2019 model i20 sportz plus petrol 3024 meter reading. After 2 or more more weeks of time, took for a drive about 350kms including (ghats road) All of a sudden when i had to park car, ignition was off , when tried to move clutch suddenly failed to engage and became fully loose with some sort of sound. Rested vehicle sometime and brought down about 85kms nearest service centre After 1 day of fully rest, car is working fine now But no pickup in 1st and 2nd gears, clutch is hard Any idea what is really wrong?

Shrey bhai engine ka problem hone k darun se ye hota hain.... But pahele up engine ka thik se tuning karwao. O2 sensor clean karwao. Map sensor ko vi. And fuel ko akbr check karlo.. Asb kam tumhara around 800 - 900 me ho jayega.

Eske bad agr na hoga to engine ka compression ko check karlo. Agr usme prblm hain to pata chal jayega. But pahele jo kam bola wo pahele kawao i think usmain solve ho jayega

Same problem with my i20 also, in hot condition the clutch pedel use to stick middle way. So as per my mechanic i changed that sleep cylinder and replaced it with the original one in june. Then the next 3-4 months i didn't face this issue and now again in october i m facing the same issue. Can any one suggest what is the issue? If sleep cylinder is the issue then i had replaced it in june itself then how can it get damged again in soo less time😓😓 can any one suggest what should i do?
