Gear That Doesn't Suck Acetac Chest Rig

Definitely a fan of the s.o.p. Micro chest rig, I bought 3 of them over a year ago when they were less popular. One in black, one in multicam, and one in desert night camo, all from Amazon. Unfortunately the desert night camo one came with 2 messed up zippers out the box and I was too lazy to return it, thinking about trying to have them replaced at a seamstress somewhere. They were all around $85 a pop, so I can’t gripe too much. Besides that I adore them except for the wings which were designed poorly. It’s convenient that you can fit 2 p mags in each but they press into you instead of away from you. I know they offer revised ones on their website for xtra but it’s not that deep. It’s literally a “micro” rig that holds 9 mags not including the dangler space. It could absolutely work as a poor man’s “go to war” rig. My multicam one I’ve dragged through the mud crawling in the prone for over a year and it’s held up with 0 issues. Great value.

I have had this chest rig for about half a year and have no complaints, they came out with a plate carrier and I have been eyeballing that guy for a while and the quality for price is top noch.

I have that set up and I love it! But like he said the side dangler could be a little better but other than that I love it!

We know…. The side wings aren’t the strongest part however, they were designed to hold a Nalgene style or radio, not magazines.

Been using mine for a few months and it’s very good and easy to run for the range I just don’t run the side pouches they dig in my side but good pice off kit for the price

I bought mine earlier this year and have been very happy with it, for everything that comes with it and the price it's well worth it. Have had no issues with it at all. Of course there are better rigs but for price and a rig that does everything i need it to do its been great.

Good video - will chesk them out, was also looking at the Viktos Taculus MX Chest Rig so may be between these two .. I also watch your other channel - Maybe I missed it but what ear pro are you using in this video and other videos ? Can you suggest them - ? My peltor 100s and Walkers always bump my stock when using my Steiner 1-4 LVPO - appreciate any suggestion.

We have kicked around thicker straps for the SWAG, Chest rigs etc but after weighing the options, the versatility and minimalist feel would suffer.

I've been using this exact model for about six months just running around my property and it does the job...and yes, the only hangup is the bungee. Specifically it rolls of my radio.

The battle bottle I got is as good as they say for real. contractor in fl I leave it in the sun for hours and it stays just as cold as if it was inside. I don't understand the magic but I'm a believer lol 😂
