It makes sense that Kendo wasn't lying, the staff changed the robot exam last minute just for 1-A (or maybe all first years) for "various reasons." Those reasons include the many teamwork issues people like Bakugo have, plus robots are too easy after the USJ incident. I admit it would have been interesting if she was though, for drama.

@ Think of it as an RPG stat board. Momo has the highest level of intelligence out of the class, and Mineta is only one or two points below her. My point is, he could have easily got the number two spot on the midterms if only he applied himself.
