The sad truth is that his rough childhood being trained/abused by Endeavor and being burned by his mother (as was revealed in the tournament) made Todoroki very socially awkward. He acts cool and calm but nobody can tell he doesn't know how to make friends easily. Deku was the first spark of social connection in the festival tournament it seems. Ironically, Momo starts out socially distant similar to him because she's so rich; she was so happy to invite her classmates over to study! They both lack some degree of confidence. These two have a lot in common and need to outgrow being shy, I love them both.

What I like about Yaoyorozu is she's a relatable character: she's smart , reliable and talented but feels insecure about herself and that's what stops her from getting stronger, however, in moments of pressure and thanks to support of friends she'll find the courage to solve a critical situation, she's gonna be a great leader in the future :)

I feel like the thing with her is she is smart but she gets outshined by bakugo, todoroki, and deku because they are all (imo) smarter than her and very adept at quick thinking and strategy, especially deku.

@@xmant8842 They are absolutely not smarter, you feel that way because we see them more fighting than Momo, but she is smarter. The mangaka stated it himself, she also has shown in this particular fight that she was a better strategist and tactician than Todoroki, and based on the official stats she is the smartest student of the entire school. Her intelligence is higher than Bakugo, Deku and Todoroki, and when I say intelligence I'm not referring to school intelligence overall but overall intelligence, how quick thinking, analytical and flexible she is. She's the best strategist and tactician of the entire class, and she's definitely sharper and more perceptive than all three of them (especially Todoroki and Bakugo). I'd say Deku is the only one close to her intellect level, both are highly analytical, perceptive and flexible, but Bakugo and Todoroki aren't that great.

I belive we dont see her inteligence that much because people on shows tend to be a bit dummer than people( or a least in average) and the inteligence is usually reserved for the more thought out characters like protagonist. That said this show makes a good job making every student atleast fun usful and smart enough that it is telling but also showing

I personally dont really because nothing between them has seemed romantic to me. Imo todoroki really respects momo and momo admired todoroki so much that him giving her more respect made her really happy. I'm not saying they could never be together or wouldn't work together, but nothing I've seen so far makes me think they actually have crushes on each other

No spoilers, but you greatly underestimate just how powerful All Might really is. All Might’s power is basically immeasurable. Every time One for All is passed on, it can be built upon and made stronger by the next wielder. All Might is the 8th holder of the power, so it’s basically on its 9th iteration with Izuku. Current All Might can hold his form for 50-55 minutes as of this exam, which is far more than the time limit of the exam. All Might is also at 1/60th of the power of his prime but he still has to wear 250 pounds of weights to even remotely check his power. They basically stated that the teachers are all going easy and leaving ways for the students to win. If they didn’t, none of the students would even remotely stand a chance. Even as good as the students are, the teachers are far stronger than anyone thinks. UA’s teachers aren’t just any heroes; they’re some of the best heroes alive.

Yaoyorozu got beaten before she had a chance to do anything in the sports festival, and then for her internship she got selected, as far as she can tell, purely for her looks. She's having a crisis of confidence where she's feeling afraid she's all brains and looks, with no actual combat potential. It's not true, not by any stretch, but her powers do tend to gear her more for combat where she has a chance to prepare, and she's never been in situations until recently where she hasn't had that time.

Tsu is honestly a well rounded character. She's not inherently strong, but shes skilled and is calm no matter the situation. Which helps in so many stressful situations.

i think you are starting to understand i think a bit more the type of shounen this is. it's got the combat and training and such but the character development and the friend/rival atmosphere plus the family component as well is really nice. the show dedicates episodes to each character so you can get emotionally invested with them. sure deku and a few keys members have the main spotlight but the rest of the class are some serious episodes that show them not just as support members but as great standalone heroes unto themselves. Good stuff ^^b

bangtanpink universe Season 1 -> Season 2 -> Season 3 (up to episode 11 or 12, you’ll know which because it’s a huge point in the series) -> MHA 2 heroes (first movie) -> Season 4 -> Season 5 when it comes out -> MHA Heroes rising after a certain episode in season 5. In terms of “in universe” the first movie technically happens before season 3 starts, but then it reveals a major character from season 3 that doesn’t appear until episode 9/10, so it’s kind of a spoiler to watch it before season 3 episode 9/10. It’s not like it ruins anything, but the reveal of that particular character is extremely cool and should be seen in the anime first. His movie reveal is just normal. As for the second movie, it takes place after some point in season 5, so unless you care about spoilers then you should watch it after seeing some of season 5 first. Obviously, we don’t know what episode that is right now since season 5 hasn’t released so it’s hard to say. That’s my recommendation on how to watch things

I feel like the only reason yaoyorozu hasn't gotten that much attention until now is because overall deku, bakugo, and todoroki are smarter and better at quick thinking as well as having strong power, especially in the case of comparing her to deku

@@POCAHONTASBOI I say she is overall smarter than them but deku and bakugo imo are far better at quick thinking in battle. Maybe not todoroki, but deku and bakugo for sure are better at it than her imo. Someone else pointed out to me before on another video that this is mostly because deku thinks of the best way to use everyone's quirks while momo usually tends to at most use her and one other person. Like, deku found out how to save bakugo when even momo couldn't and I also doubt momo would come up with the human bullet strategy deku had to catch up to compress. Nothing I've seen of her would really make me think she could come up with those kind of clever ideas from deku that do amazing at using everyone's quirk to their fullest. Looking at it now, maybe smarter isnt the best word as much as more creative which also seems kind of like smarter

Not necessarily, I've watched all of them and my opinion on the show didn't change a bit. I like it but I find it repetitive, generic and cliché. Never understood the big hype of this shonen when there's plenty of others that are much better. Jujutsu Kaisen is better for exemple.
